The River that Peter spent the entire night without catching any fish, is the same River where they caught thousands of fish in the morning.

The issue is when Jesus came in the morning and asked 'Do you have any fish?' and they said no.

He did not advise them to change the River. Instead, He advised them to cast the nets deeper.

When your life is going the opposite direction, it's not
about changing your place of work, changing your church, changing your husband or wife, or giving up. Its all about casting your faith deep in God, casting your fellowship with Jesus deep in believing that God will provide, heal, restore, uplift, deliver, revive and bring blessings and favour your way.

May the Lord give you the grace to trust more in him.

Take me back to the old Paths, when Moms were at home.
Dads were at work.
Brothers went into the army.
And sisters got married BEFORE having children!
Crime did not pay; Hard work did;
And people knew the difference.

Moms could cook; Dads would work;
Children would behave...
Husbands were loving; Wives were supportive; and children were polite.

Women wore the dresses; and Men wore the trousers.
Women looked like ladies;Men looked like gentlemen; and children looked decent.

People loved the truth, and hated a lie;
They came to church to get IN, Not to get OUT!

Hymns sounded Godly; Sermons sounded helpful;
Rejoicing sounded normal; and crying sounded sincere.
Cursing was wicked; Drinking was evil; and divorce was unthinkable.

We read the Bible in public; Prayed in school;
And preached from house to house.
To be called a Christian was worth living for;
To be called a traitor was a shame!

S*x was a personal word. Homos*xual was an unheard of word, And abortion was an illegal word.

Preachers preached because they had a message; and
Christians rejoiced because they had the VICTORY!

Preachers preached from the Bible;
Singers sang from the heart;
Sinners turned to the Lord to be SAVED!

A new birth meant a new life; Salvation meant a changed life;
Following Christ led to eternal life.

Being a preacher meant you proclaimed the word of God;
Being a deacon meant you would serve the Lord;
Being a Christian meant you would live for Jesus;
And being a sinner meant someone was praying for you!

Laws were based on the Bible;
Homes read the Bible;
And churches taught the Bible.

Preachers were more interested in new converts than new clothes and new cars.

Church was where you found Christians on the Lord's day, rather than being entertained someway.

Give me that old time religion!

RIGHTEOUS IDOL WORSHIPPER?

I wondered why I was in the queue of accused at all. I am intelligent, aggressive, young, totally committed to my God. What am I doing here with this sheet of supposed sins in my hand I wondered?

I don’t drink, I don't smoke, I don’t fornicate, I don’t steal, I am righteous. Others should be here not me.

It was finally my turn to face the Man.

I placed my sheet before Him, He glanced at it and sighed softly. He looked at me and calmly said, ‘Guilty of idol worship.'

Imagine my anger, my fury, my indignation. I jumped out of the chair and said ‘Of course not! Check the sheet again, check the name, It can't be mine.’

He sighed again and mentioned one of my names that no one knows.

I would not be stopped. It's impossible’ I yelled. I worship only God, the Most High, Maker of heaven and earth, the King of kings and Lord of lords. I bow down to none, I have no talisman, no amulet, no pot underneath my bed.

‘You are guilty of idol worship’ He repeated calmly.

He looked at me, I looked at Him. It seemed like forever. The room was silent. I could hear the clock ticking.

Then slowly I understood.

I am never late for bus/train station or air flight but I am always late to church - I blinked.

My payments to services I enjoy eg: Dstv, phone bills etc, are never late but I haven’t given offerings/tithes in three months - I looked down.

When meeting one of our local chiefs last week I would not even pick a call in the presence of earthly royalty, but I WhatsApp in church

I wouldn’t interrupt my performance appraisal with my boss for anything but I missed church last week because of a series on TV

I wouldn’t let a day end without talking to my spouse but today I just said Hi God, Bye God. And I didn’t even pray last night - The room began to feel hot.

I would never miss going to the bank because of the weather but I missed fellowship on Wednesday and Friday because it was drizzling .

I would wear my party colors to party meetings and not care what anyone thought of me but I hate to talk to my workmates about God because of what they will think of me.

I always have the latest tech gadget you can think of but my bible is so worn out. I can’t even find the book of Jude in my bible anymore.

The last thing to touch before going to bed is my phone and the first thing in the morning....chating on whatapp or replying offline messages. And never bordering to talk with God or reading His word.

I felt so hot in the room, a nervous sweat on my forehead, I felt so ill and weak, all of my anger and self-righteousness was gone, leaving immense guilt in its wake.

I slowly got of the chair and knelt by His feet and said ‘I am sorry, I am guilty as charged, Guilty of idol worship, guilty of placing others; humans, technology before You. I am guilty of idol worship.’

He smiled gently, looked at me with those passionate eyes of His full of love and He gave me a fresh sheet!and said, Deliver souls!!

your bed...The only thing you are doing is making us feel lust about you

I know you will feel excited about the 500 Likes, 120 sweet Comments and countless inbox messages you will receive and you will feel so high more so to be on top of the world.
BUT ONE IMPORTANT THING YOU SHOULD KNOW, in reality, none of those guys who will like and comment on your photo or send you messages in your inbox loves you. They are just lust about using and dumping you. In fact they hate you because none of them would take you to his home to be his wife. Trust me they take you as a w***e looking for cheap popularity on facebook.

Men whether rich or poor admire ladies who dress decently and respect themselves.
Decent clothing that reveals less about your body makes us love and respect you.
It tells us that you are a virtuous woman and a wife material one would take home to be a mother.
It tells us how you were brought up morally and gives us details about your good family background.

We don’t really care alot about your excessive make-ups and face paintings??
A good wife material remains no matter what.
Value your Body, Be real and Respect yourself.
And a good man who will respect you will find you whatsoever.

Facts about MIDNIGHT prayers :

1. MIDNIGHT is a time of transition, from one day to another. God can bring a transition in your life as you pray at MIDNIGHT.

2. MIDNIGHT is a time of great spiritual activity, both good and evil. Destinies of men are shaped and interrupted at MIDNIGHT.
If you are not shaping your destiny at MIDNIGHT, then somebody may interrupt your life at MIDNIGHT.

3. At a natural level great victories have been won when nations were caught by surprise as their armies were asleep at MIDNIGHT. Satan launches attacks at MIDNIGHT: he feeds people in their dreams at MIDNIGHT; he rapes others in their dream as they are asleep at MIDNIGHT, etc.

4. Great calamities are spiritually effected at MIDNIGHT.
God had to wait until midnight to execute judgment on Egypt: (Exodus 11:4-6) Then Moses said, “Thus says the LORD: ‘About MIDNIGHT I will go out into the midst of Egypt; and all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sits on his throne, even to the firstborn of the female servant who is behind the hand mill, and all the firstborn of the animals.’”

5. Midnight is the time people are most vulnerable to spiritual attacks. It is the hour when enemies lay siege and render people defenseless. It is also the time that you can launch a deadly, surprise attack on your enemies’ camp.

6. As a Christian, you can break open closed doors as you pray at MIDNIGHT. Samson lay low till MIDNIGHT; then he arose at MIDNIGHT, took hold of the doors of the gate of the city and the two gateposts, pulled them up, bar and all, put them on his shoulders, and carried them to the top of the hill that faces Hebron. (Judges 16:3)

7. Mysterious things happen the most at MIDNIGHT. Have you lost anything or anyone very dear to you under mysterious circumstances?
Chances are that the operation was carried out at the MIDNIGHT hour. Remember the harlot in Solomon’s time who lost her child by sleeping on it at MIDNIGHT and at MIDNIGHT she stole her friend’s child:
1 Kings 3:20(KJV) And she arose at MIDNIGHT, and took my son from beside me, while your handmaid slept, and laid it in her bosom, and laid her dead child in my bosom.

8. Great spiritual transactions happens at MIDNIGHT. Solomon got wisdom from God at MIDNIGHT. If you are not receiving something good at midnight, then chances are high that there are evil changes happening against you at MIDNIGHT.

9. Very wicked operations happen at MIDNIGHT but we can change that.
We must arise and fight. We must wake up and pray. If we do, we can have great impact in our societies and churches.

10. David, the man who never lost a single battle in all his life, has this to say:
At MIDNIGHT, I will rise and give thanks to You, because of your righteous judgments. (Psalm 119:62)
What excuse do you have? Do you say, “I wish I arise but I’ll be tired”? Do you have a busier schedule than that of King David (President of the nation of Israel?). I don’t think so.
11. Do you know better than what Paul and Silas knew? Who praised and worshipped God at MIDNIGHT:
But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed. (Acts 16:25-26)
12. MIDNIGHT is the best time to make serious intercession:
And He said to them, “which of you shall have a friend, and go to him at MIDNIGHT and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves; for a friend of mine has come to me on his journey, and I have nothing to set before him;’ And he will answer from within and say, ‘Do not trouble me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give it to you’? I say to you, though he will not rise and give to him because he’s his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as many as he needs.” (Luke 11:5-8)
13. Praying at MIDNIGHT is a sacrifice that will not go unrewarded. God sees our desperation through the sacrifices we make to Him.
It is my prayer that the Lord will help us to understand that when we are asleep, Satan and his demons aren’t asleep but they are busy launching arrows at us,
May the Lord help us to understand that there are serious activities that takes place at MIDNIGHT much of which are against us as Christians
May the Lord deliver us from spiritual laziness so that we can rise up to defend our inheritance and to take back what the devil has stolen from us.

P**n was not made for entertainment or fun it
was made purposely to destroy both the actors
and their viewers. It feeds man with lust and
makes him hungry for more. That is what result
in ma********on and all abominable s*xual act.
Ignorant men love to watch it for fun not
knowing that they are inviting demons of lust to
themselves. It is a great doorway for demonic
entrance. They don't need to have spare keys to
be in your room. They only need you to watch
their product and they will come in through the
walls!. If you sit down alone to watch
something on the TV please have it in mind that
you are not alone.
There are evil beings looking out for your
weaknesses to attack you. When demons get to
know that you are weak in a particular area,
they will make it difficult for you to overcome
it. You will understand why people keep on
falling back into the same sin over and over
again!
The good news is, you can can still win and
overcome! in Jesus. Through discipline, prayer
and fasting. Otherwise, those demons will put
stumbling blocks in your paths to trap you so
we can't afford to be careless friends. Too many
men are hooked to p**n and are struggling to
overcome it after seeing the damaging side of it.
Even some pastors fall into it. We should know
that the actors are being used by demons to go
to that extreme to degrade their bodies. Married
men who get addicted to p**n find it difficult to
sleep with their own wives, young men who are
not married will also ma******te.
P**n is very addictive, it is easy to watch but
hard to walk away from. They have labelled it
as "adult channel" it isn't so it is abominable
channel!! A colleague of mine told me years
back that it is alright to watch p**n with your
spouse if you are married, that was a lie! I disagreed with him. I wasn't as ignorant as he was. If Jesus
wouldn't watch why should we? knowing that
we are His bride and His temple.
People who watch p**n end up having strong
irresistible s*xual urges, because they have
invited the demon of lust to live in them. Once
the spirit brings up the desire you can't stand the
pressure but do it with whoever you get,
whether your close relative, a child or even animal . This has
ended many into prison.
The rate at which s*x offenders are increasing is
alarming in our society. Friends, close your eyes
from watching obscene pictures before it
destroys you. Some people have the nerves to
post p**ns on Christian sites on Facebook!!
Please delete or block such people straight
away! They are sending people to hell!. A man
who was addicted to p**n confessed that his
whole life was destroyed by it. It distorted his
image on how he viewed women. He saw
women as nothing more than mere "s*x
tools"
Romans 6:13
"Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead and your members of righteousness unto God"
What will help one to overcome this sin is the holy fear of God in a man, knowing that it will
be a shame to set your eyes on vulgar images
when the Lord is seated next to you. P**n is deadly, destroy it before it destroys you. Keep yourself pure!!!

THE IMPORTANCE OF PRAYING AT MIDNIGHT!!

From 12am-4am the christian should be vigilant in Prayer.

During this period the body immune system is at its lowest.

Thats the time when a lot of patients die in hospitals and this is the time when witchcraft is at its peak.

Demonic creatures roam about with much anger during this time also the agents of darkness make their patrols.

This is the time deliverance in a Christian's time should be utilised.
The same hour we should be strong in prayer.

Psalms 119:62 David said ,
"At midnight i will rise to give thanks unto thee....". As a prophet David knew the importance of Midnight prayer.

After 430 years of enslaving the Sons of Israel , Pharaoh remained adamant to let the Israelites go , until the day God delivered the Midnight judgement as seen 12:29.

See this, the angel of the Lord smote the 1st born at midnight.
If you forward the night to almost 2500years later we see Paul and Silas in jail due to persecution.
But at midnight ,..." Paul and Silas prayed and sung hymns of praise unto the Lord:....." Acts 16:25 and an angel of the Lord freed them.
There is saving power at midnight bethren.

Our cases are discussed by our enemies at night when we are relaxed, as seen by 2Kings 6:13-14 The Syrian king wanted to capture Elisha the prophet at night. Why because at night forces of darkness rule.

2kings 19:35-37 King Sennacherib lost 185000 men to the angel of the Lord in one night.

I declare may the armies of the devil lose hold tonight when you shall pray.

Utilize the night to break the backbone of the enemy.

I want you tonight to imitate Samson who in Judges 16:3 ".....lay until midnight and rose and uprooted the doors of the gates of the city...".
Uproot the kingdom of the devil with prayer.
