Topic: SAVED BY GRACE – HOW DOES IT HAPPEN?
Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”
I presume yesterday, someone was asking, “Yes I know by grace we are saved but how?” Again just tap cool and get back to scriptures. Our verse above is very clear: by grace are ye saved through faith. It means “saved by grace” happens by faith. Now, faith is nothing complex as some have made it. Faith is simply the reality of God’s Word. So, “saved by grace through faith” means saved by accepting the reality of God’s Word concerning salvation. In other Words, by accepting what God’s Word has said concerning salvation as the truth, one is saved. God’s Word says that in order to save the world, Jesus died for their sin and was raised from death. So, Romans 10:9 (MNT) declares, “Confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God actually raised him from the dead, and you will be saved.” This is how it happens. Wow! Can you believe that? It’s so simple but that’s the truth.
Prayer
Father, I pray that by the conviction of the Spirit, people all over the world will receive the simplicity of Your Word and get saved to become Your begotten sons/daughters in Jesus’ name.
