I am Free
As free, as I can be
Though darkness clouds the thoughts of my mind
I leave all the rubbish behind
Moving on with my focus on the mirth of life
Alacrity feels my heart
Joy knocks on the door to my life
Regardless the pains I feel
Despite sorrow seems so real
I make a choice to put away the insomnia of dreadfulness
And pick up the pieces of my heart
As I wash my face with the Word of God

Eph 4:2
" With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;"

We must bear one another in love. Love, Faith and Hope, Love is the greatest. Love is a reflection of God's personality and as Christians created in the image of God, we must love those around us with all meekness and longsuffering. We must be humble in our relationship with others and be ready to forgive when we are wronged. Love conquers all sin.

Today, make a decision to love those around you in humility and be ready to forgive when they offend you. Amen

Its been a whole month and we talked about Holiness.We learnt that Holiness is a decision we make but all this talk about holiness, will not make any impact, if you have not accepted Christ as your personal Saviour.

The message of salvation is the most important message ever preached. Making the decision to surrender your life to God is much important than any other decision. Bible says "There is a way that seemeth right to man but its end is destruction". Christ said "Come all you are heavily laden and I will give you rest, my yoke is easy my burden is light". You have lived life on your own and all you encounter are issues, Christ is calling you to a new life, a new relationship. 2 Cor 5:17 says " If any man be in Christ, he is a new creation, old things are gone, all things have become new". This is a chance for a fresh start. Christ is calling you today, He is knocking on your heart. Make the decision today to surrender all to Him and live for Him.

Prayer : Lord Jesus, I humbly come before you laying down my life before you. I surrender all to you, take me, mould me, use me. Come and live in my heart and be my Lord and Personal Saviour. Thank You for coming in Jesus Name.Amen

Theme: Holiness

This month, has been a month where we have talked about Holiness in our messages almost everyday. Just want to share something from my heart.

Holiness, is a requirement to enter the Kingdom of God. God requires us to be holy. Romans 12:1 tells us that we should present our bodies as sacrifices, holy and acceptable unto God. Are our lives living sacrifices?, are our actions acceptable unto God? We were created for God's glory not vise versa. Therefore, whatever we eat, wear, do or go must bring Him glory. A short definition of Holiness, is glorifying God in your life.Many men of God have spoken about Holiness, Micah Stampley sang about it. He said in his song " Holiness that is what I long for "
There must be a desire to be Holy. A desire to glorify God in the Body, Soul and Spirit.
In the abundance of immorality, make the choice of being Holy. It starts with a desire.
I choose to be Holy.Do you?

" If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another."

Holiness demands that we walk in the Spirit. How do we say we are living in the Spirit when we do not walk in the Spirit? Walking in the spirit means that you desire the spiritual things and not the things which are vain. Vain glory, provoking one another and envy are carnal activities we must abstain from
Walking in the Spirit is a prerequisite for Holiness

Today, make a decision to abstain from envy and vain glory and focus your attention in desiring the Godly spiritual things that help us live a holy life.Amen

Listened to a message from Bishop Dag Heward-Mills about "the three things a new creation must do".I believe it will bless your life.( 2 Core 5:17)

As human beings we are made up of three components; Spirit, Soul and Body. The Spirit is our actual self. We are spirit in a body.
The body is the flesh or much more like our container. The body contains us (Spirit). The soul is responsible for our minds, intellect and emotions.

Now, as Christians we need to constantly be doing three things to keep us in Christ. In fact once you accept Christ, these three are a must.

1. We need to grow our Spirits through the deliberate study of the Word of God. The Word is food to the Spirit. So for our spirit to mature, we need to Study the Word.

2. We need to Control our flesh or body.
The body is a sinful one and can never be renewed. That is why, we still struggle with sin though we are born again. The only way you can overcome is by keeping it under control not vise versa. You need to keep the flesh in submission to the Spirit. (Romans 12:1)

3. We need to renew our minds. Your mind has to be renewed by learning much more about the Kingdom through the Word in order for you to take spiritual decisions that will help the Spirit. Bible says " As a man thinketh so is he". The mind needs to be renewed.(Romans 12:2)

If you put into practice, these three activities, I believe you will be able to live a holy life. Amen

2 Corinthians 7:1
"Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. "

The world is filled with filth and uncleanliness which pull us away from the presence of God. There is a need for us to consciously cleanse ourselves from the filthiness of both flesh and spirit. The only way we can do that is by deliberately abstaining from such filthy ways of living and rather perfecting holiness by giving reverence to God. Our holiness needs to be perfected in the fear of the Lord.

Today, make a decision to fear the Lord and in that you will deliberately abstain from the filthiness of the flesh. Amen

" I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness."

The Word of God tells us that there is a need for us to yield our members or our bodies to serve the Lord in holiness. Through this, we understand that we need to submit our bodies and actions to the service of God in order for us to live in holiness. We can't become holy by chance, we have some work to do and that work involves serving God with your body and yielding every part of it to His service. As we do that, we begin to live in holiness because, our bodies have been submitted under his authority.

Today, make a decision to submit your body to God for His use. Let God be in control of your entire being because you can't do it on your own. Commit your body to God to be used and you will live in holiness. Amen
