Caption: How to Have Pentecost Every Day
Key Verse: Genesis 1:1–3
What is Pentecost?
Pentecost was originally a Jewish feast known as the Feast of Wheat, a celebration of the first harvest offered unto God in the Promised Land.
Today, Pentecost is celebrated 50 days after Easter, commemorating the coming of the Holy Spirit in the Upper Room as recorded in Acts 2.
Pentecost Celebrates:
1. Our salvation — being born again.
2. Our new life in Christ.
3. Our divine empowerment by the Holy Spirit for greater works.
Pentecost was activated on one specific day, but it was never meant to remain a one-time experience. Pentecost is supposed to be a daily experience. Every believer should desire a fresh Pentecostal encounter every 24 hours.
There is a difference between the Holy Spirit being present and the Holy Spirit manifesting. The number 50 also represents the Year of Jubilee — a season of freedom, release, and empowerment.
THE EXPERIENCES OF PENTECOST
1. Wind
The wind came to carry away everything that was not of God. This is why Pentecost represents freedom.
1. Fire
The fire symbolizes release, empowerment, purification, and deployment into greater works.
HOW CAN I EXPERIENCE DAILY PENTECOST?
1. Maintain Daily Prayer
Pray consistently and speak in tongues daily until you experience the fresh power of the Holy Spirit.
• The Holy Spirit loves a pure and godly atmosphere.
• What covers you eventually takes over you, and you begin to take its shape.
Prophetic Declaration
I decree and declare over your life today that you shall experience the fire and power of Pentecost in your everyday life.
May the Holy Spirit continually empower, purify, and transform you for greater works.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
