Jesus said in Matthew 28:18-20 " Jesus came to them and said, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples
of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Again in Mark 16:15-16 " Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned". Jesus told his disciples in Luke 24:46-48" He told them, This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem".
*Jesus was a soul - winner, reconciling many back to the Father and Jesus assign us His disciples to do same, not just preach but Healing the sick, driving out demons, speaking in new tongues - Mark 16:17-18
The Holy Spirit:
Jesus said, John 14:16-17
*Believe in the move of the Holy Spirit - "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you". We have the Holy Spirit with us and in us when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Personal Savior, he will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment - John 16:8
The Holy Spirit teaches us:
John 14:26 says, ‘The Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor — Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you. John 14:26 (AMP)
1 John 2:27 (NLT) says, “You have received the Holy Spirit, and He lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what He teaches is true—it is not a lie. So just as He has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ.”
* Believe in Baptism by Immersion and Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Luke 3:16: "He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit…" Luke 3:22: "…and the Holy Spirit descended upon him in bodily form like a dove." ... Acts 1:4–5: …the Promise of the Father…"; …you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit…" Acts 2:1–4: "All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages…"
Colossians 2:12, KJV: "Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead." ... And with him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead."
* We believe in partaking in the Lord's Supper.
1 Corinthians 11:23-25
For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same way He took the cup also after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”
Matthew 26:26-28
While they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins. Mark 14:22-24
While they were eating, He took some bread, and after a blessing He broke it, and gave it to them, and said, “Take it; this is My body.” And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, and they all drank from it. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. Hebrews 9:28
So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him. Rev 1:7
Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Amen.
