Abundant Joy Ministries began as a prayer fellowship called – Love Fellowship in May 2010 in the living room of the rented apartment of the senior Pastor; Rev. Sandra Kay Keh. After several months of consistent prayer and evening meetings at the aforementioned venue, Abundant Joy Ministries held it first Sunday service on the 25th of December 2011 to the glory of the Almighty God , on the compoun
d of the private residence adjacent to the rented apartment of the senior Pastor’s abode in Ashaley Botwe . The debut Christmas service which is also the inaugural service of Abundant Joy Ministries (AJM) was attended by 19 adults and 13 children, totaling 32 attendees in all. Right from our inception as a ministry, (AJM) or (House of Joy ) has held on firmly to the belief that, we are a ministry for the unsaved; hence our doctrines and practices give preferences to these people who are on God’s heart - ( Luke 19:10)
This for us is the height of our calling and at the heart of the ministry’s strategic plan. AJM, is also firmly rooted in the belief that, God has purposefully positioned this ministry as a place where people will get the needed assistance, both spiritually and physically to realize their purposes in this life, thereby becoming who God has ordained them to be. AJM, has always been careful to recognize that, we are serving God’s purpose, thereby not asking Him to serve our purpose. With this knowledge firmly rooted in our hearts, minds and souls, we commit AJM back to the giver and pledging that, it will forever be a ministry to the glory of God. We offer Him our best, not our blemished lambs and we humbly and eternally remain grateful to Him for allowing us the privilege to see Him work through His church. AJM believes in a simple vision of “unearthing God’s given talents and gifts for the work of the ministry’’ With our commitment to this simple vision, we are careful to place God first, others second and ourselves last. We are grateful to Him for the good work He has begun with us and even more grateful and excited about what He will do through us in the years to come.
