Synopsis
The Lord is good and gracious, He watches over us and keeps us safe. Welcome to another Sunday service. We welcome you to church today, members, partners and friends together with members of our online congregation.
Wisdom is defined as an element of personal character that enables us to distinguish between what is wise/good and what is unwise/bad. It also means the right application of knowledge for achieving a greater good.
Today, we learn about the wisdom of God displayed in scripture. The very first instance of God's wisdom showed in creation is how God made everything. God knew that, man could not survive without the sun, the trees, the birds, the cattle and all the other things He made (Gen 1:1-17).
Again, God displayed His wisdom in the way He made man without covering him. As long as man remained without sin, he would never know he was naked (Gen 2:25). God knew man had sinned when he confessed that he was naked.
Another way the wisdom of God is displayed in His invitation of partnership with mankind (Gen 2:20). The world was made for man, hence God gave Adam the responsibility of taking care of all He had made, and giving names to all God's creation.
Whether we raise children or do some kind of job/task, we need the wisdom of God to know how to handle it (Judges 13:5). The wisdom of God always helps us to do what is right and what is best in all situations.
God's wisdom is our shield and buckler. By this wisdom, we excel in all things. His wisdom gives us hope and assurance. God's wisdom is above all. We must be careful to always ask God for His wisdom to live in this world.
Enjoy a blessed new week
Agape love and greetings
