• Seek God’s counsel
Genesis 24:1–4
Seek God’s counsel first. Then seek godly counsel from mature, trustworthy people who genuinely desire God’s will for your life.

• In 2 Corinthians 6:14–16, the Bible warns believers not to be “unequally yoked” with unbelievers.

If two people are pulling in opposite directions, the journey becomes difficult.

Marry someone who shares your faith: Because that affects your values, decisions, priorities, finances, family life, parenting, and ultimately the direction of your home.

In Last Sunday’s service, our Pastor Kojo Frimpong defined what Marriage is and what to look out for when choosing a partner…

He defined marriage as a lifelong relationship between a man and a woman that is established by covenant before God and also recognized by law (society) designed to endure for life.

Key notes for choosing a partner:
- Before Eve came, Adam had an assignment.
Genesis 2:15
God placed him in the garden “to tend and keep it.”
Be a man who understands responsibility, is willing to work, has direction, and is committed to caring for what God places in his hands.

- Before Eve came, there was an instruction — Don’t marry someone who doesn’t submit to God’s instructions.
Genesis 2:16–17

Marriage involves finding someone who is willing to submit to God.
A person who genuinely fears God would allow God’s Word to influence their decisions, character, relationships, and conduct.

God’s Word declares that “the wise shall inherit glory” — Proverbs 3:35.
Wisdom is not merely about what you know; it is revealed in how you apply God’s Word to your life.

When you choose God’s wisdom over worldly ways, you position yourself to walk in the glory and inheritance He has prepared for you.

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?”
1 Corinthians 6:9

Our inheritance in the Kingdom calls us to a life that reflects the nature of Christ.
1 Corinthians 6:9 reminds us that unrighteous living is not compatible with inheriting the Kingdom of God.

Grace has called us out of darkness—not to continue in it, but to live differently.
Live as one who belongs to the Kingdom!
