🔥 KINGDOM SERVICE | DISCOVERING YOUR PLACE IN THE KINGDOM
Have you ever wondered, “Where do I fit in God’s Kingdom?”
Or perhaps you have served faithfully but wondered whether anyone even notices what you do?
Tonight on Word of Truth, we continued our Kingdom Service series with a powerful reminder: YOU HAVE A PLACE IN THE KINGDOM.
Think about it for a moment: What would happen if everyone decided their contribution was too small to matter? What if the person serving quietly behind the scenes stopped showing up? What if the one God gifted to encourage others decided their gift was not important?
The truth is, every member matters.
Your absence may not be noticed by people, but God notices. Your place in the Kingdom is not determined by how visible you are, how many people applaud you, or how much recognition you receive. God Himself assigned you a place.
And here is something we must never forget:
You are not serving for people; you are serving God.
The moment you begin measuring your service by people’s appreciation, you open the door to discouragement. People may overlook you. People may fail to say thank you. People may celebrate someone else while your own labour remains unseen.
But does that mean God did not notice?
Absolutely not!
“He who sees in secret will reward you openly.” — Matthew 6:4
So, what has God placed in your hands?
Maybe it looks small.
Maybe nobody celebrates it.
Maybe nobody even knows you are doing it.
Do it faithfully.
Because in the Kingdom, faithfulness is greater than visibility. Approval from God is greater than recognition from men.
God has given each person a unique gift. What He placed in you, He did not place in someone else. So why compare your assignment with another person’s assignment?
Your gift counts. Your service counts. Your place counts.
David did not begin as a king. He was first a shepherd. Before the throne came preparation. Before the public platform came private faithfulness.
Perhaps the small responsibility God has entrusted to you today is not the destination—it is the training ground for where He is taking you tomorrow.
So don’t despise the small beginning.
Serve with all your heart.
Serve faithfully.
Serve when you are seen.
Serve when you are not seen.
Serve when you are appreciated.
Serve even when nobody says thank you.
Because you are serving God, not man.
🔥 The question is no longer, “Am I important enough to serve?”
The question is:
“What has God placed in my hands, and am I being faithful with it?”
Take a moment and ask yourself: What is my place in the Kingdom, and am I faithfully occupying it?
