*_THE MISSING LINK OF ONE- DISTRICT-ONE-FACTORY (1D1F) INITIATIVE_*

The world as a matter of fact has gradually shifted from both agrarian and manufacturing economy to the service sector. With the highest technological advancement in modern times, the service industry is indisputable the leading sector. Laws are been formulated to ensure reduction in fossil emissions and promote green evolution. The notable agreement in recent times is the Paris climate conference where the world's super powers all pledge and agreed to cut fossil emissions by 50% by 2030.

Looking at the global trends, it is not surprisingly to see the emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in agriculture, commerce, medicine etc. The threat of AI in job loses is clear illusion as it will rather increase productivity and ensure evenly distribution of labour in the economy.

The Africa Free Trade Agreement (AFTA) endorsed by the African Union (AU) in Kigali early this year is projected (if all the countries rectifies) to increase trade volumes among member countries to over 60 Trillion dollars by 2035. This intra-trade agenda been spearheaded by President Paul Kigame and Akufo-Addo is without pretentious good and needs commendation.

During the mid-year budget review by the finance minister, Ghana recorded a trade surplus thanks to the robust oil and cocoa sectors. Recently the Trade minister also announced Volkswagen (VW) intentions to establish assembling plant in the country. This is also good as gradually the country is gaining grounds as a great destination for international investors.

With all these good initiatives and positive macroeconomic indicators and above all the propagation of the 1D1F by the government, I feel there is one giant link missing. I termed this gap the *purchasing power!!!* Recently the president frankly admitted the untoward hardship in the country despite all the social interventions of free SHS, school feeding, NHIS, Taxes and Tariffs reductions etc. According to the vice-president, free SHS in its first year implementation alone has put over 1.2 billion Ghana cedis in the pockets of Ghanaians.

If these social interventions are not reducing the high cost of living in the country, why then is the government pushing 1D1F agenda? Is it to introduce inferior, cheap goods into the systems or to satisfy its parochial agenda. Note that currently intra-Africa trade accounts less than 2 percent of trade volumes. Ghana is not unique in risen low standard of living on the Africa continent. There is a surge in youth unemployment and poverty (though substantially reduced) is at the apex on the continent.

In conclusion, I support the 1D1F by principle, however the missing link of the high cost of living which translates to low purchasing power in the country needs urgent attention as it will "kill" this noble dream.
The end. Thanks

SEXUAL EXPLOITATION
Recently I was having a chit-chat with one of my old mates. As we were exchanging pleasantries, he told me of his old ways in college. He narrated how I spoilt myself with ladies back then. My friends and I decided to contest on who will sleep with most women. You know, I can boldly say all the numerous ladies I slept with virtually have the same va**na taste. No one va**na is better than the other irrespective of the status, class, beauty or holiness. Some of the ladies, we s*xually satisfied them others we couldn't. Those we were able came back. All the things I did then was in ignorance and I have repented from it. Anytime I have the opportunity, I do advise the young guys about all these and I wish I knew this truth earlier in my life. he concluded.
I know most guys who have s*xually exploited will understand this reality! Let me state here that the va**na of Holy Mary and that of an insane woman walking on the street are virtually the same. EveryWoman a book authored by Derek Hewellyn-Jones explicitly explained how the va**na is self-cleansing, elastic and responds to different situations as need be. This is the wisdom of va**na!!!
It is therefore pathetic when guys chase different ladies because of s*x. I believe it is ignorance in the first place. Lust only rears its ugly head when the light of knowledge is lacking. Ignorance is the greatest weapon of the enemy! The Lord Jesus said: You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free!!!
Let me state emphatically that big breast, big buttocks, s*xy lips, charming eyes, flat tummy etc. does not add any value to the taste of the va**na. It only increases men's lust to have s*x. Any lady who artificially acquired all these is only making herself a s*x machine for ignorant men whose main aim is to exploit.
Hardly will you hear a guy say: my woman couldn't satisfied me in bed. It's mostly the other way round. This statement accounts for most divorces in marriage! Note here; Its not the big breast, curvy body or s*xy look that causes divorce. It's mostly the finances, s*xual satisfaction, physical or emotional abuses, attention etc.
Let me conclude, In choosing spouses, we should all consider the virtuous woman and man in Proverbs 31 and the operation of the marital home in Ephesians 5:21-33. The consequences of s*xual exploitation cannot be over emphasized. It adds no value to both man or woman but rather makes you sink deeper and deeper into bottomless ditch.
