📋APPRECIATION
National Council Meeting and Lenten Reflection
The National President and the entire National Executives Committee express heartfelt appreciation to Almighty God, to the Bishop of the Techiman Diocese, Most Rev. Dominic Yeboah Nyarko, Very Rev. Fr. Dominic Yaw Assuahene, Vicar General of the Techiman Diocese, Very Rev. Fr. James Annor Ohene, Cathedral Administrator, and Rev. Fr. John Ziema, the Spiritual Director of the Techiman Diocesan Sacred Heart of Jesus Enthronement Centre for graciously hosting the National Council Meeting and Lenten Reflection at the Techiman Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Our Lady of Calvary Grotto from Friday, 20th March to Sunday, 22nd March, 2026. Their warm hospitality, well thoughtful arrangements, and pastoral care helped make this gathering a wonderful and successful one.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Provincial and Arch/Diocesan Spiritual Directors, Delegates, and the Local Planning Committee for their dedicated contributions and active participation, which ensured the success of the meeting and lenten reflection.
Our appreciation goes to our Guest Speaker, Very Rev. Fr. Dominic Yaw Assuahene, Vicar General of Techiman Diocese, for his inspiring presentation on the theme: "A Synodal Church at the Service of Justice and Peace in Ghana: the Role of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Devotees"
Special thanks to the Tarcisians of the Techiman Diocese for their wonderful sketch performance on the devotions of the Sacred Heart of Jesus during the meeting.
We also express our appreciation to the Cathedral Administrator and Lay Faithful of St. Paul’s Cathedral, Techiman, for the welcome extended to us on Sunday during the Thanksgiving Mass.
Our gratitude further goes to the Management and Staff of Our Lady of Calvary Grotto and Diocesan Pastoral Centre, Techiman for generously allowing us to use their facilities, and for their dedicated care of all delegates throughout our stay. May the good Lord bless their sacrifices and unwavering support.
We thank the media team of the Department of Pastoral and Social Communication (DEPSOCOM), Techiman Diocese, St. Paul’s Cathedral Media Team and all other individuals who assisted in covering the event with beautiful photos and videos.
Let us make love lead, then there would be peace and then hope.
It is our prayer that the deliberations and spiritual exercises will strengthen devotees of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
