DYING TO THE FLESH LIKE JESUS

A lot of Christians still struggle with addictions even though they are born again. The devil is oppressing Children of God because they lack knowledge (Hosea 4:6).

Before Jesus returned in the Power of the Spirit from the wilderness (Luke 4:14), He was tempted for Forty Days by the devil.

Beloved before you walk in the Power of the Spirit you must overcome your weakness; YOU MUST DIE TO THE FLESH.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit will not drive away temptation, but rather, the Spirit empowers you to overcome temptations WHEN they come.

To walk in the Power of the Spirit, you must pass these tests; DIE TO YOUR FLESH.

THE SPIRIT BEGINS WHERE THE FLESH ENDS...

GOD PREFERS OBEDIENCE

Psalm 40:6
'6. Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. '

David said that God does not desire sacrifice and offering, but rather God opened his ear; why? Because God wants David to hear Him and Obey His Word. God prefers us obeying Him rather than disobey and later bring Him sin offerings and burnt offerings. Jesus said in John 14:15 that if you love me, obey my commandments.
Obedience to God Word is prove that you truly love Him. If you love Him, Obey His Word.
