|| SING ONE HYMN A DAY ||

📆 Date: 02.11.2022
📝 Title: There Is A Fountain Filled With Blood
✍🏻 Composer: William Cowper

METHODIST HYMN BOOK (MHB) 201

Stanza 1
THERE is a fountain filled with blood
Drawn from Immanuel’s veins;
And sinners, plunged beneath that flood,
Lose all their guilty stains.

Stanza 2
The dying thief rejoiced to see
That fountain in his day;
And there may I, though vile as he,
Wash all my sins away.

Stanza 3
O dying Lamb, Thy precious blood
Shall never lose its power,
Till all the ransomed church of God
Be saved to sin no more.

Stanza 4
E’er since, by faith, I saw the stream
Thy flowing wounds supply,
Redeeming love has been my theme
And shall be till I die.

Stanza 5
Then in a nobler, sweeter song
I’ll sing Thy power to save,
When this poor lisping, stammering tongue
Lies silent in the grave.

💡 HYMN REFLECTIONS:
Sin stains. It's a guilty stain. Nothing can remove it, except the blood of Jesus Christ. Until a person plunges beneath the flood of this blood, their sin and guilt remain before God. Have you then sought Jesus Christ for cleansing? Are you washed in the blood flowing from Emmanuel's veins? Don't just be happy you are in a church. Rather, be happy that you have been washed in the blood of Jesus Christ before you were placed in His church. Amen! Pray!

📖 BIBLE REFERENCE:
Ephesians 1:7-10

Have a blessed day and please feel free to share.

Sunday Service
30th October 2022
___________________________

THEME: He Came to Seek And Save The Lost

PREACHER: Very Rev. Solomon Patterson

BIBLE READING
- Isaiah 1:10-18

- 2 Thessalonians 1:4-12

- Luke 19:1-10

LESSONS
-1Timothy 1:15

- Jesus came to this world to save sinners.

- We run from the calling of God because we don't do what Glorifies God.

- if you will Listen to the Voice of God he will take you out of Sin and Goodness and Mercies will be yours.

- Sin separates and pushes Man from God (Salvation).

- He came to call the Backbitters, Murderers, Drunkards and those filled with sins. He came to save us from the destruction of our souls.

*MHB 322*

- if you submit your life to Christ and let him know you can't carry this burden alone he will help you.

- That let sin devour you to the extent that you use scriptures to support your sins or motives. (We need to stop justifying our sins with some of the scriptures in the Bible)

- He is always available before our hearts and all he asks is for us to open our hearts for him to dwell with us.

- Turn away from our sinful behaviour God loves us.

- Ignore every voice that will lead us to sin

*- God's love is Constant Patience and Welcoming*

Hope to see you Next Sunday
