SERMON BY REV EMMANUEL AKE
THEME: KNOWING JESUS AND MAKING HIM KNOWN AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOUR.
TEXT: ACTS 2:36, MATT 16:13-16
NOTES: Before you can testify of someone, you have to know the person. You must know the totality of the person. You must know how the person handles issues. If you don't really know the person, you may testify and realised that it was a false testimony. Before your testimony can be credible you have to get closer to the person and know the person well.
Before you can testify about Jesus and His power, you have to know Him. Peter said, *"you are The Christ, The Son of The Living God."* As we go about proclaiming the gospel, we have to know God well. During the times of the Apostles, there were four areas they all agreed upon in knowing Jesus:
*1. Jesus as the Saviour."* Before you can testify about Jesus you must know Him as saviour. (Acts 4:12). Salvation cannot be found in any president, neither any king. Salvation can only be found in Jesus. He has saved our souls from idol worship, from demons and every other thing. He has saved us from our sins and He can save others from their sins. (John 3:16)
*2. Jesus as The Healer."* He heals us of all our sickness and spiritual problem that we have. So when you go out and you meet someone in a depraved situation, you must minister Jesus onto the person. Sometimes people will be on the verge of committing su***de and when Jesus is ministered onto them, He heals them. Jesus can heal the broken hearted. And open the prison doors. No matter how broken you are, Jesus can heal you. May The Lord heal your soul and revive your soul. Sometimes we find it difficult to smile because we are going through problems. Know that Jesus is able to heal you. When you experience Jesus as The Healer, you are able to testify about Him as a Healer.
*3. Jesus as the Baptizer."* They knew that Jesus had the power to revive them and baptize them with the Holy Spirit. Sometimes you will feel down but when you come to church, you hear the word of God and you feel in your spirit that you have been revived.(Luke 24:49, Acts 1:8). Jesus gives us power. Sometimes we find ourselves in situations of traditional or fe**sh threatening but when The Holy Spirit is in ur we don't fear such things. When the power of the Lord comes upon you, you can do great things. Knowing Jesus means you must know Him as The person who gives power. The power Jesus gives is a supernatural power.
*4. Jesus as the soon coming King."* Jesus is The King of Kings and He is coming again to rule. (Acts 1:11). Jesus will come again as our King, as our Comforter.

As we go about our daily activities, let us know Jesus as our Saviour, as our healer, as our Baptizer, and as our soon coming King.

May God help us to know Him more and testify about Him.

God bless Pastor Emmanuel Kwasi Ake for a great and timely message.

THEME: WORDS MATTER TO GOD

Text: Titus 3:5, 1 John 1:3, 1 Pet 2:2, James 5:16, Matt 12:36-37, Col 4:6,
As Christians we must be careful what we say with our mouth. Most times when we go through hard times, we tend to speak against God and say all sort of things. We even say we won't serve Him anymore. We must know that God loves us so much. We must know that as Christians, we don't have to give up. We must know that everything we say with our mouth comes to pass so we must not say negative things. Whatever negative thing we say comes to pass. Colossians 4:6 says our words should be seasoned with salt. When we complain too much about our situations, it doesn't show our maturity in God. Let us be matured in God so that we grow up so that whatever comes out of our mouth will be seasoned. This will help us not be victims to fake pastors. As a mature Christian, you must raise up yourself. Sometimes u must stand infront of a mirror, and make positive confessions to yourself. Prophesy big things upon your life as you look into the mirror. *Isaiah 43* makes us understand that God loves you. Know that there is hope for us. So make sure that whatever comes out of your mouth will be positive. Let the word of God be part of you. Confess is day and night. Come out of being a baby Christian, stand to your feet and let the world see what The Almighty God has put inside you. *Psalm 8* says that He has put power and strength into our mouth. So let us not open our mouth and say things that wont help us both Physically and Spiritually. God is never fed up with u so don't give up on your self. *Never utter the words "I can not" because He has given us the power to do all things.*
Remember, we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.
Remember that the one who called you is faithful and just. When you are down, call on someone and that person will strengthen you.
Watch your speech, have a can do spirit, move forward, dive in the spirit, pray hard, focus your mind on good things and it shall be well with you.

God bless you so much Dcnss Salomey Bart Tetteh for this great word. It is very timely.

Theme: True Worship
Text: Nehemiah 9:6, Psalm 22:27

The dictionary defines Worship as the feeling of reverence and adoration. given to a deity. Also it is honour given to someone of the recognition of his merit.
It is the honour we give to our God. No matter the season. No matter what happens, our God is unchangeable. Worship means total surrender to God. We surrender our imagination, assets, abilities to God. Worship is only reserved for the Lord. Lord means legitimate owner or mighty controller.
We must worship because sometimes it is what gets out of hard times.

How do we worship?
You cannot worship whom you do not know. Before you Worship, you must know God. Worship is the response to the source. True worship is total transfer of praise to The source. Everything was created by God whether good or bad. God is the supreme owner of all things(Psalm 24). So if we are afraid of Corona Virus, then it means that the way we must worship God hasn't been achieved in any way: we haven't gotten anywhere. In order to truly worship God, you need to sing your own song. Tribulations come your way so that you will get your own song. Sometimes we go through things that when we open our mouth we don't even know what to say. We have to worship God to a level that we worship Him not only when we see a breakthrough coming but when we are faced with challenges. The enemy is so cunning to the extent that he will make you forget that your a heir. Know that you are seated with Jesus at the right hand of God. So when the devil asks you to bow to him so that he gives you the things of the earth, tell him No. Everything in the earth belongs to God and God is your father, so why will you go begging the devil for what is already yours. God is the fighter of our enemies. When you are oppressed by the powers of the earth, know that our God is the mighty controller, the true owner of all the powers of the earth.

God bless Dcnss Dyllis Ansah for this great message

Romans 8:38-39

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Have faith in the lord. This Too Shall Pass
