MADINA DISTRICT CHILDREN'S MINISTRY CAMP MEETING
DAY TWO
AFTERNOON SESSION
As the children returned from their launch break, the afternoon began with much anticipation.
In a special teaching session, Deacon Caleb Yeboah, who serves as Sychar local leader, admonished the children never to say everybody is doing it. Speaking on the topic; being unleashed as a child to transform their world, he advises the children present to refrain from following the crowd in doing what is evil before God in our quest to transform our world.
Citing King Josiah as an example, he explained that Josiah, as young as he was, decided not to follow the path of his predecessors Amon, his father, who did evil in the sight of God and resorted to obeying the laws of God.
He encouraged these young ones to be different among their peers in school, home, in the community, and wherever they find themselves. As the boy Samuel was different from Eliβs son, they should be.
Reading from 1 Peter 2:9, he said God has chosen each one of them as children of God to cause a positive change in their sphere of life and therefore should frown on anything that is against the word of God.
The afternoon session continued with a Q&A session where the children asked questions bordering them in all aspects of their lives.
Evening session continues. Stay tuned
