🔥 SUNDAY SERVICE REFLECTION — THE FEAST OF PENTECOST 🔥
Today, we explored the prophetic significance of the Feast of Pentecost and how God revealed His redemptive plan through the biblical feasts.
📖 Key Scriptures:
Exodus 23:14–17
Leviticus 23:15–17
Deuteronomy 16:9–12
Genesis 11:1–5
Acts 2:1–20
The three major feasts prophetically point to God’s divine agenda:
✝️ PASSOVER — Redemption through the Lamb
📖 “Christ our passover is sacrificed for us.” — 1 Corinthians 5:7
🔥 PENTECOST — Empowerment through the Holy Spirit
📖 “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come… they were all filled with the Holy Ghost.” — Acts 2:1–4
👑 TABERNACLES — God dwelling with His people
📖 “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men.” — Revelation 21:3
Pentecost was more than a feast of harvest; it was the fulfillment of prophecy and the birth of the Spirit-filled Church.
At Babel, languages were confused and nations scattered (Genesis 11:1–9).
At Pentecost, the Holy Spirit united nations through divine utterance and revelation (Acts 2:5–12).
🔥 Babel scattered.
🔥 Pentecost gathered.
🔥 Babel exalted man.
🔥 Pentecost exalted Christ.
The outpouring of the Holy Spirit fulfilled the prophecy spoken by Joel:
📖 “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh...” — Joel 2:28
Pentecost reminds us that:
▪️ The Church was born in power
▪️ The Gospel is for every nation and tongue
▪️ The Holy Spirit empowers believers for Kingdom assignment
▪️ God is still gathering a harvest unto Himself
📖 “Ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you...” — Acts 1:8
May we continue to walk in the fire, power, and prophetic purpose of Pentecost.
