And the Bible tells us, “…they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts” (Galatians 5:24). Do not find yourself struggling to overcome the flesh. Instead, declare from this day that, Jesus Christ is the Lord over your mind, appetites and desires.

Child of God, if the Word of God controls your mind, you will be a master. The Lordship of Jesus is the end of all struggles. When Jesus is the Lord of your body, you do what Paul explained in Romans 12:1: you present your body to Him, because your body is His body.
1 Corinthians 6:15 says, “Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.”

Child of God, God’s Word is of utmost importance in our lives; you must study, understand and live by God’s Word. Jesus said in John 8:31, “…If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed”. In John 8:32, He said, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” His Word is truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 says, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” Joshua 1:8, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
