Eleventh CME District

Eleventh CME District The Eleventh Episcopal District of the C. M. E. Church covers North, South, Central and East Africa. Bishop Kwame Lawson Adjei, Presiding Prelate.

The Eleventh Episcopal District was establish at the 2010 General Conference. In the 2022 General Conference, Bishop Kwame Lawson Adjei was assigned as the Presiding Prelate, succeeding Bishops Carter, King, Cunningham, and Jefferson-Snorton. It encompasses 13 Southern, Central, Eastern and Northern Regions of Africa.

On June 21, 2026, my wife and I had the honor and privilege of worshipping at Morning Chapel CME Church in downtown Fort Worth, Texas.
The worship experience was truly inspiring, and the service was dedicated to the celebration of Men's Day. It was especially meaningful to fellowship with and personally congratulate Rev. Kenneth L. Hollingshed, who was recently elected at the just ended 41st General Conference as the General Officer of Evangelism and Missions of the Christian Methodist Episcopal (CME) Church .
As one who has also been assigned to serve as Departmental Chair of Evangelism and Missions, I was grateful for the opportunity to share in this special moment and to celebrate God's continued work through His servants.
My sincere appreciation goes to Rev. Kenneth Hollingshed and Lady Tanesha Hollingshed for their radical hospitality, warm fellowship, and gracious welcome.
To God be all the glory for a blessed and memorable day of worship, encouragement, and Christian fellowship.
