John 14:26 (NKJV)
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you."
What a privilege it is to have the Spirit of God with us in these dark and challenging times. We are not alone.
Jesus said that when the Helper comes, He will teach us all things and lead us into the truth. We are living in a generation where truth is increasingly becoming relative and situational instead of absolute, biblical, and centered on Christ. But when we hold on to the Holy Spirit, He shines the light of God's truth into our hearts and continually points us back to His Word.
The Greek word translated as Helper"* is Paraklētos which means one who is called alongside to help, guide, strengthen, comfort, and walk with you. What an incredible assurance that we never have to journey through life alone.
The greatest interpreter of the Word of God is the Spirit who inspired it. The greatest Helper we have is the very Spirit of God Himself. He teaches us, reminds us of God's promises, convicts us, empowers us, and leads us into all truth.
Prayer:
Lord, let Your Spirit teach me again. Open my eyes to walk in Your love and in Your truth like never before. Thank You that I am not alone. Thank You that Your Holy Spirit is with me every step of the way, guiding, strengthening, and leading me into all truth.
