I AM A SINNER, BUT SO WHAT?
Yes, I am a sinner, but so what? Yes, I am a woman, but so what? Yes, I have failed in life, but so what? You can use all of that against me whenever you want. You can argue that women are unworthy of approaching the throne to pray. You can tell me I am a drug addict, a pr******te, or even a criminal. You can tell me that my past will always follow me. Please pay attention to what I'm about to say. I only have one thing to do. I mean, one thing would change everything:
I must believe in JESUS CHRIST
Then I admit that I am a sinner like Rahab and that God should change me; I am a pagan like Naaman and that God should give me a miracle; that I am possessed like Mary Magdalene and that Jesus should heal me and make me His friend so that I can see Christ's second coming like Mary saw the resurrected body before everyone else. I am a woman like Hannah, but when I go on my knees, the men are confused yet prophesy to me that my wish will be granted.
That I am a traitor like Peter and that Jesus should pray for me just as He did for Peter. I've tried and failed many times to be successful and that Christ should give me success like Peter, who couldn't fish all night, but when he met Christ, everything changed, and he caught a lot of fish.
All I want to say is that you can say whatever you want, but when Christ comes into the picture, everything changes, a new life is assured, and miracles begin to flow. If you are going to criticize me based on my past failures, remember that once I have Christ, your opinion of me will be meaningless because the stone that the builders rejected will always become the corner stone one day, and this is the Lord's doing, not you ( Psalms 118:22-23).
