You’ve had a long day and you just want to jump into bed to sleep the night away... but did you know there is far more to the night than just rest? Something that brings a deeper peace than simply lying down? Today’s reading from The Shofar comes to remind us about the graciousness of the night season.
While physical sleep is essential for restoring the body, God designed the quiet hours of the night for an even greater spiritual purpose. It is a sacred window for meditation, receiving divine wisdom, and seeking His presence without the noise of the day. When we draw near to Him in these quiet hours, we tap into a soul-deep rest and clarity that physical sleep alone cannot provide.
Take some time to digest these pages, say a word of prayer, and meditate on the testimony shared. I promise there’s a blessing in every word.
Shalom! ✨📖🕊️
