Word: The prosperity of a young believer
Psalm 1:3 This tells us that when you’re youth God expects much from you. In the kingdom of God there’s no limitation to prosperity.
As young as you are you must be prosperous to support the kingdom of God.
Does poverty glorify God? You can’t be in God and still struggle for your basic needs. As a youth anything that involves prosperity you should be there. Whether it being educational prosperity, marital prosperity, ministerial prosperity, financial prosperity etc…
Luke 4:18
Whenever God calls a man to His kingdom, what He does first is anoint you with prosperity. If you are with the spirit of God and still can’t be prosperous, it means there is a problem. The antidote to poverty is to have the gospel (Jesus Christ). When we have the word, His glory will transform us into prosperity.
The gospel is what will change your life.
The gospel is what will connect you.
The gospel is what will let you make you money.
A poor person is a person who has been broken hearted.
A poor person is someone under oppression.
A poor person is someone under captivity.
You only way you overcome these (poverty) is by having the gospel.
What you must do as believer to prosper.
1. _Be in good health_: 3 John 1:2…It is a mission of Christ that we be in good health to carry on His works. If you are a believer and not rooted in the word your soul will not prosper, you cannot be healthy. You must live a righteous life, life that is not promiscuous to be healthy. Your source of wealth must come from God.
2. _You must have the power of God_: Of you don’t have the power of God, the wealth can come and disappear. Deuteronomy 8:18…Your wealth must come from God. You must not prosper and people start questioning your source of wealth. Your source of wealth must be traced to God. When your source of wealth is from God, it runs through generations.
3. _You must obey the principle of wealth creation_: As a young person you must start doing something…As a young person when you know how to create wealth you become independent. Education is key…study people, learn a trade, study books. You must be innovative. You must know how to invest in God’s kingdom.
