Message Tittle: What Does God Say About Forgiving Others?
Main Text: Ephesians 4:32

Forgiveness means letting go of my anger and desire to get even with someone who has hurt me. True forgiveness comes from God. Ever since sin entered the world through the first people, Adam and Eve, individuals have needed God's forgiveness. Jesus Christ, God the son, died on the cross to make the way for us to be forgiven for our sins. Those who trust in Jesus as their Savior are forgiven--made clean from their sins. If you have trusted the Lord Jesus as your Saviour, you can thank Him that He has forgiven you.

Once you have received God's forgiveness, He wants you to forgive others who hurt you. Our verse reveals that, you need to forgive others because God has forgiven you. Maybe someone has said or done something mean to you. Don't hold on to your anger toward that person. Think of all the sinful things God has forgiven you in your life. Then choose to forgive the one who has hurt you. Even if that person never apologizes for what he/she did, you can forgive others because God has forgiven you.

YOU CAN PRAY WITH ME: Dear Lord, thank You for Your forgiveness. Help me forgives others as You have forgiven me. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Message Tittle: How Was Abram Kind To Lot?
Main Text: Ephesians 4:32

Abram was a wealthy man. God had told him to leave his home and go to a new country to live. God promised Abram that his family would become a great nation and have a land to call home (Genesis 12:1-2).

Traveling with Abram and his, Sarai, was his nephew, Lot. Abram and Lot both had many animals and servants. When they arrived in the new country, they found that the land did not have enough food and water for all the animals. Their servants argued about this problem (Genesis 12:5; 13:7)

Abram told Lot they would have to separate so their herds would have enough food and water. God had already given the land to Abram but Abram made a kind, generous offer to Lot. He allowed Lot to have the first choice. Lot chose the best land, with clean wells and rich soil. Abram took what was left. He could have kept the best land but he decided to show kindness by giving the bast land to Lot (Genesis 13:8-11)
Abram shows us a great example of being kind to family members. It's not always easy but God can help you do it!

YOU CAN PRAY WITH ME:
Dear Lord, thank You for my family. Help me show kindness to each member even when it's hard. In Jesus'name. Amen

MORNING GLORY WITH EL-FRANK BADU

Message Tittle: Love is sacrifice

Main Text: “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.” John‬ ‭15:13‬

In the verse above, He gives us a new revelation of love i.e, laying down one's life for the other. This is practical. To achieve this, you should be ready to sacrifice. Sacrificing is a conscious effort to let go willingly what is rightfully yours to others. Sacrifice comes with pain and cost. This Christ Jesus did. He set a clear example and he expects us to do same.

To sacrifice for one another is the greatest love. God is expecting your sacrifice of time to spread the gospel, to help others and to also serve Him.

In this festive season, go and show this greater love. Be willing to sacrifice for others.

“These things I command you, that you love one another.” John‬ ‭15:17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Pray with me;
Heavenly Father, grant me the grace to exhibit the Christ kind of love. I receive the Holy Spirit to guide and help me live a sacrificial life in Jesus name. Amen.

ANGER WILL COST YOU

_Don’t be quick-tempered, for anger is the friend of fools_ (Ecclesiastes 7:9 NLT).

When Moses came down from Mount Sinai and saw the people worshipping a golden calf, which they had constructed by themselves, he was enraged. Right there, he smashed to pieces the tablets of the law engraved by the finger of God (Exodus 32:19). Moses had to engrave another one all by himself, as a punishment.

On another occasion, as the children of Israel sojourned in the wilderness, they suddenly ganged up against Moses and Aaron because there was no water for them to drink. The Lord then instructed Moses to assemble the congregation, and tell the rock before their eyes to bring forth water for them to drink.

Moses, obviously angry at the people’s outburst, charged and rebuked them, tagging them rebels! In a fit of rage, he turned and struck the rock instead of speaking to it as the Lord had instructed; in fact, he struck it twice (Numbers 20:11). Water came out for the people to drink, but Moses’ action displeased the Lord.

In as much as Moses was referred to as “…very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth” (Numbers 12:3), he allowed anger affect his ministry and walk with God, such that he wasn't allowed to lead the children of Israel into the Promised Land as the Lord had intended. He certainly was faithful in the administration of all God’s house (Hebrews 3:5), but anger was his undoing.

Anger is a quick destroyer. Don’t even try to “tame” it; eschew it. If you’ve been termed or described as someone who’s quick to get angry, get before the Lord in prayer, and give yourself to the Word in meditation.

There’re people who won’t fulfil their calling, as it has happened in history, because of anger. And in such cases, what God does is to have another plan. Don’t let it happen to you. Why should anyone miss out with God, and fail in their divine destiny, because of a negative attitude that could easily be controlled and overturned with God’s Word? Psalm 37:8 (NIV) says, “Refrain from anger and turn from wrath….” Act on God’s Word. Refuse to let anger rule you.

PRAYER

_Dear Father, I delight myself in your Word and to do your will. Your Word is in my heart, causing me to walk in righteousness and fulfil my destiny in you. I’ll not give myself to anger, rage or fury, for my desire is to please you in all things, as I live by your Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
