Sometimes, people come to church looking for Jesus—but they meet a security guard instead.

It is so easy to fall into the trap of defending the rule while completely forgetting the relationship, protecting the outer container while spilling the precious wine of mercy; but we must remember that God did not call us to be His law, He called us to be His love—so let us guide others with gentleness and tears in our eyes, rather than holding stones in our hands against the very people who are looking for a place to heal.

Be the Christian After Church

James 1:22 warns, “Be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.” Sunday’s sermon is training; Monday to Saturday is the test. True Christianity is not confined to church walls but lived in homes, workplaces, markets, and online. � Colossians 3:17 adds, “Whatever you do… do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus.” This means our speech, decisions, and actions after service must reflect Christ. Ask daily: “Does this honor Jesus?” Replace gossip with encouragement, impatience with grace, and selfishness with service. Let your life preach when no one is watching. Church equips; life applies. Be the Christian after church—so people see your good works and glorify God.
