Friday, 22nd May, 2026

TOPIC: The Reward for living the New Life in Christ

Scripture Reference:
1. 2 Corinthians 5:17: - Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

2. Romans 8:1-2: - There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.

3. Philippians 4:19: - And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

4. Romans 8:11: - If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also through His Spirit who dwells in you

Prayer Point:

1. Pray for the help to focus on eternal rewards other than earthly
2. Pray for joy in following Christ, knowing that His promises are true
3. Ask God to let His life in you bring you fulfilment in fruit bearing
4. Pray for hope and assurance in the promises of God
5. Pray that the Lord draws you closer to him

New Life; New Stewardship of God's Creation (the Earth).

Scripture References:
1. Isaiah 24:3-6: - The earth lies defiled under its inhabitants, for they have transgressed the law violated the statutes, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore, a curse devours the earth, and its inhabitants suffer for their guilt; therefore, the inhabitants of the earth are scorched, and few men are left.

2. Jeremiah 12:4: - How long will the land mourn, and the grass of every field wither? Because of the wickedness of those who dwell in it, the animals and the birds have disappeared, because the people have said, “He will not see our end”.

3. Revelations 11:18: - The nations were angry, and your wrath has come, and the time for the dead to be judged, and for rewarding your servants, the prophets and the saints, and those who fear your name, both small and great, and for destroying the destroyers of the earth.

Prayer Point:

1. Ask the Lord to help you fear disrespecting the earth
2. Pray for forgiveness in contributing to harming earth and ask for help to be good steward
3. Pray that the Lord lets your actions show that you fear the consequences of destroying the earth
4. Pray that God restores what has been broken and help you walk in His wise path
5. Pray for the urgency to care for the earth

Wednesday, 20th May, 2026 Reflecting Christ's Love to the World

Scripture References:
1. John 13:34-35: - A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

2. Genesis 2:15: - The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it

Prayer Point:

1. Pray for the grace to love like Jesus does
2. Pray for the show compassion to others
3. Pray for grace to show genuine love to others
4. Ask for wisdom to take care of His creation
5. Seek for divine guidance in your choices to protect His earth
6. Seek for divine direction to how to act with love for people and the planet.

Day 5.

Tuesday, 19th May, 2026 E. Living Your Purpose in the Power of the Holy Spirit

Scripture References:
1. Philippians 3:12-14: - Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and Sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do, forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

2. Romans 8:5-6: - Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.

Prayer Point

1. Pray that the Lord fills you with the Holy Spirit to fulfil His purpose
2. Pray for the guidance of Holy Spirit for Him to show you His path
3. Prayer for boldness and wisdom to fulfil the plan of God for your life
Ask the Holy Spirit to produce His fruit through you to have impact on others for Him

Day 4 - The grace to live the New Life in Christ

Scripture References:
1. 2 Peter 3:18: - But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.

2. Romans 8:1: - There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Prayer Point:

1. Ask God to grant you grace to live as He desires
2. Pray for help to walk in love like Jesus does
3. Pray for strength against weaknesses
4. Pray for the grace to obey the word of God.

Prayer Point:

1. Pray for the Lord to transform your heart and help you live like Him
2. Pray to Jesus to align and shape your values and make you value what He values
3. Pray to God to reveal your purpose to you and help you walk in it
4. Pray for the fruit of the Spirit and be led by the Spirit.
5. Pray for daily renewal

Day 2 - LETTING GO OF THE OLD THAT HAS PASSED AWAY.

Day 2.
Saturday, 16th May, 2026 B. Letting go of the Old that has passed away

Scripture References:
1. Isaiah 43:18-19: - Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

2. Philippians 3:8: - What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ.

Prayer Points:
1. Pray to renounce sin and ask for forgiveness and help to turn away from sin.
2. Pray by asking Jesus to renew your thoughts and help you focus on His truth
3. Pray to break the chains of old patterns and receive power to walk in freedom.
4. Pray for help to put on new life with the righteousness in Christ Jesus
5. Ask God to fill you with His Spirit
