MONEY DOUBLING IN CHURCH?
If you are a Christian you can recall a popular bible story in which Jesus was recorded to have driven away some group of persons from the Jerusalem temple for merchandizing in the house that was supposed to be called "The House of Prayer" .
Matthew 21: 10-13
When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, “Who is this?”
The crowds answered, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.”
Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. “It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’[e] but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’
There is this story making rounds on social media concerning a woman of God; Patricia Asiedua, alias ‘Nana Agradaa’ known ministry as Evangelist Mama Pat, allegedly reported for money doubling fraud and was arrested by the police. Really? If this is proven to be true, then I ask, where is the integrity of the church? Is the church in the 21st century a true reflection of the body of Christ?
Can someone help me answer these questions?
