A Reflection Shared at the 26th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana
On Saturday, the National Director had the privilege of attending the 26th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Representing the Chairman of GEC, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, he shared a fraternal reflection with the General Assembly, honoring the immense contributions of the Presbyterian Church to the broader Body of Christ and the nation as a whole.
Below is an excerpt from the fraternal message:
We rejoice with you as you reflect on this yearโs theme:
"Celebrating Our Heritage: Building on the Foundation Already Laid"
(1 Corinthians 3:11 โ "For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.")
The story of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana is inextricably woven into the spiritual, moral, and social fabric of our nation. From the pioneering sacrifices of the Basel and Scottish missionaries to the enduring labor of indigenous fathers and mothers of the faith, your heritage stands as a beacon of:
Uncompromising Gospel Proclamation: Steadfastly bringing the light of Christ to every corner of Ghana.
Holistic Ministry: Setting the gold standard in education, healthcare, agriculture, and civic development.
Biblical Discipline and Order: Nurturing generations of principled, godly leaders who serve both Church and country with distinction and integrity.
The Ghana Evangelism Committee deeply treasures its long-standing partnership with the Presbyterian Church of Ghana. Your unwavering commitment to national evangelism surveys, kingdom research, and collaborative missions has significantly advanced the work of the Gospel across our land.
He also took the opportunity to update the General Assembly on the progress of the 3rd National Church Survey: field data collection is now complete, and the data is currently undergoing thorough cleaning in preparation for final analysis.
May the Lord continue to bless, establish, and expand the impact of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana as you build faithfully on the foundation of Christ.
