The Africa Methodist Council Strategic Planning Team met with the President, General Secretary, and the Honorary Treasurer to present the report on the 2022 to 2026 Strategic Plan review and the proposed new Strategic Plan and discuss key priorities ahead of its implementation in March 2027.

The Draft Strategic Plan for 2027-2031 will be translated and posted on the AMC Website and AMC General Conference Resource pages for comments through the following email [email protected]

AMC Leadership Meets with The Methodist Church Ghana 🇬🇭

The leadership of the Africa Methodist Council had a fruitful meeting with leaders of The Methodist Church Ghana in Accra.

Most Rev. Dr. Paul Kwabena Boafo, President of the Africa Methodist Council;

Rev. Dr. William Agyei Mpere-Gyekye, Administrative Bishop of The Methodist Church Ghana;

Most Rev. Prof. Johnson Kwabena Asamoah-Gyadu, Presiding Bishop of The Methodist Church Ghana;

Mr. Jonathan Umba Banza, Executive Communication Officer, Africa Methodist Council;

and Revd. Dr. Martin Mujinga, General Secretary of the Africa Methodist Council.

The meeting was an opportunity to strengthen relationships, exchange perspectives, and reflect on the mission and work of the Methodist family in Africa.

It also provided a warm opportunity to formally introduce Jonathan Umba Banza in his new role as Executive Communication Officer of the Africa Methodist Council.

We are grateful for the warm fellowship and continued collaboration in advancing the mission of the Church in Africa. 🙏🏾

DAY 3 | AMCWM WOMEN’S ASSEMBLY

The final day of the AMCWM Women’s Assembly concluded with the Induction of the newly elected leadership at Calvary Methodist Church.

The newly elected officers were presented by Revd. Dr. Martin Mujinga, The General Secretary of the Africa Methodist Council, followed by the Induction Benediction led by The Most Rev. Dr. Paul Kwabena Boafo, President of the Africa Methodist Council.

A wonderful moment as the new leadership was officially welcomed into service.
