The church was first established in the year 1979 as a Prayer Group and known then as “DIVINE EVANGELICAL MINISTRY”. It started from Accra Newtown precisely ‘Agbadzena’ by Reverend Apostle Paul Kwadzo Fianyo who is the founder and Leader of the church. Paul Kwadzo Fianyo, a French Scholar, was born on Monday, 18th November, 1943 at Aflao in the Ketu South District of the Volta Region of Ghana to a
Ghanaian. In the year 1987 the prayer group converted into a fully fledge church and was registered as by law at the Register General alongside the registration of Religious Bodies as MODEL KNOWLEDGE CHURCH. It also has an offspring of an N.G.O known as Model Knowledge Relief Services with its website address as

AIM OF THE CHURCH;
The Aim of the Church as spelt out in the Constitution of the church
is as follows;
i. To teach members to believe that Jesus Christ is the true and direct
way to our Father God. To teach members how to develop the Christ-spirit within them
and thereby become spiritually awakened. iii To enhance the social well-being and welfare of its members
BRANCHES;
i. The Headquarters branch located in Accra- (Greater Accra Region). It is headed by the Founder/Leader and supported by the 13
brotherhood. Sapeiman branch located at Sapeiman in Ga West District-
Greater Accra, it is headed by the First Deputy Leader. Tsiame branch located at Tsiame in the Volta Region. It is also
headed by the Second Deputy Leader.
