Before you go out for evangelism, ensure you pray to God to open the eyes and minds of those who the devil may have blinded; otherwise, your going out would just be filled with unreasonable arguments. According to scriptures, Satan blinds the mind of those who don't believe so that the light of the gospel would not shine on them. He didn't stop them from believing, but the fact that they don't believe gave him right to blind their eyes and mind. Imagine putting a veil on the face of a person who doesn't believe that there is something called sun. Satan, knowing that the sun actually exists, had to put a veil on their face so that they won't see the sun when it eventually comes out. That's why you should pray to God to remove the veil first.
Once the veil is removed, then your preaching would become effective. The gospel is good news to it's recipient, and it should always be effective when communicated to anyone. There's nobody that hates to receive good news for himself, not even the devil. So when you begin to experience resistances on the harvest field, then the problem isn't the news, but that their face has been covered.
May your soul winning endeavors this week yield greater results, in Jesus name!
Remain ever blessed!
