Day 2 Topic: Importance of possessing Godly wisdom in your life Pt 2
Text: Proverbs 3: 13 – 18
“Happy is the man who finds wisdom, and the man who gains understanding. For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver, and her gain than fine gold. She is more gracious than rubies, and all the things you may desire cannot compare with her. Length of days is in her right hand; in her left hand, are riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, and happy are all who retain her.”
Long life, riches, honor, pleasantness, and peace are some of the fruit or harvest that you will reap in this life when you live by Godly wisdom. On the other hand, what will foolishness bring to a man? Or what will a person who rejects the Godly wisdom reap in his life? According to Proverbs 1: 24 – 33, such people will reap calamity, terror, storms, destruction like a whirlwind, distress and anguish, unanswered prayer, the fruit of “their own ways” or absence of divine favor or help, their own fanciful thoughts and many of such empty harvests.
Which one will you choose for yourself? Prov. 1 :23 says “Turn at my rebuke; surely, I will pour out my spirit on you. I will make my words known to you.” Friend! seek to possess Godly wisdom and live by the Godly wisdom. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths in 2021.” Seek to possess Godly wisdom.

Ask the Lord to give you the grace not to lean on your own understanding of the issues of this life but to trust in Him with all your heart.
