Camp Meeting was never intended to be merely another series of sermons or revival meetings. Its uniqueness lies in the camping experience where we step away from the routines, responsibilities, and distractions of everyday life and dwell together in God’s presence.
Camp Meeting encourages us to disconnect from the stresses of everyday life and seek the Lord together in a setting of worship, unity, and spiritual renewal, much as Israel gathered before God during their wilderness journey and Jesus frequently withdrew with His disciples for prayer, teaching, and fellowship.
