On behalf of the committee of Collins Dauda's Masjid, we wish to inform each and everyone who observers prayers with us that, pursuant to the ending of Ramadan today, we will observe the Eid prayers at the Masjid premises tomorrow Wednesday, April11, 2024 at 9.30 am. As-Salaamu alaykum warahmatullahi wabarkaatuh. We are pleased to inform you that based on the sighting of the Crescent ent in Saudi Arabia the Collins Dauda Masjid will observe Taraweeh prayer tonight to mark the beginning of the fasting of Ramadan on Monday 11th March, 2024.

We are fasting because the interpretation of the fiqh of sighting the Crescent are two
The first one says you can follow your local sighting and the second International sighting. So we have chosen to follow internationally that is not to say we are undermining our local calendar. So we those who are still counting on the local calendar are free to do so.

May Allah see us through to the end.
May the mercies, forgiveness and blessings in it never miss us. Aameen.
May Allah give us understanding.
