Today’s service reminded us that the Christian life is not lived by human strength, but by daily dependence on the Holy Spirit. As believers, we are called to crucify the sinful nature and continually walk in obedience, allowing the Spirit of God to shape our desires, actions, and character.

Keeping in step with the Spirit leads us into holiness, maturity, and a life that truly reflects Christ. 🕊️🙏🏽

Today’s Topic
SEEKING GOD’S DIRECTION FOR THE YEAR

Scripture Reading:
Proverbs 3:5–6;
Psalm 37:23–24;
Isaiah 46:10

Exposition
The beginning of a new year often brings a sense of renewal—new hopes, fresh attitudes, and a desire to become better versions of ourselves while walking more closely with God. While a new year is full of possibilities, it is also filled with uncertainties. In times like these, the most important step we can take is to seek direction from God, the One who already knows what lies ahead.

Human wisdom is limited, but God sees the full picture. Scripture reminds us that God knows the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10). Just as we would ask for directions when navigating an unfamiliar place, we must turn to God, who is fully familiar with the path ahead of us. Our best hope is to lean on Him and trust His leading—not our instincts, not our plans, and not even our good intentions.

Psalm 127:1 warns us that without God, all our efforts are in vain. Human strength and wisdom are inadequate to navigate the complexities of life; only God’s wisdom can truly lead us. Psalm 37:23–24 assures us that the steps of a righteous person are ordered by the Lord, and even when such a person stumbles, God upholds them with His hand.

To seek and follow God’s direction this year, we must remain connected to Him through His Word and prayer. God’s Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path, while prayer aligns our hearts with His peace and purpose. As you begin this year, do not run ahead of God or rely solely on your strength. Trust in His leading, seek Him first, and He will guide you into His perfect purpose for your life.
.................................................
Prayer:
Lord, let Your Word guide my steps this year. Help me to walk closely with You and follow Your direction in all that I do, in Jesus’ name. Amen...............................................
MEMORY VERSE FOR THE WEEK

Proverbs 3:5–6 (NKJV) –
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.”.......................................................

Achimota Area Head Visits Asofan English Assembly During the Climax of the National Youth Week Celebration

The Asofan English Assembly of the Achimota Area was blessed with a remarkable visitation during the climax of this year’s National Youth Week Celebration, as the Achimota Area Head, Apostle Joseph Danzerl, made a surprise appearance at the service. His unexpected visit filled the congregation with excitement, joy, and a renewed sense of spiritual fervor. The atmosphere was charged with worship, expectancy, and divine encounter as the youth gathered to mark the grand finale of the week-long celebration themed “Go and Tell.”

Delivering a thought-provoking sermon titled “Go and Tell” (John 1:43–46), Apostle Danzerl drew deep lessons from Philip’s encounter with Jesus and his invitation to Nathanael. He explained that Philip’s immediate response to share the good news exemplifies the true heart of discipleship — that every genuine encounter with Christ compels us to witness to others. He emphasized that the believer’s role is not to argue or debate, but to lovingly invite others to experience Christ for themselves, simply saying, “Come and see.”

Apostle Danzerl further reminded the youth that the call to Go and Tell is not a suggestion but a divine mandate — a command from Christ Himself. He encouraged every young believer to rise up in faith, boldness, and love to proclaim the message of salvation wherever they find themselves. He highlighted that evangelism must be grounded in genuine care for souls and empowered by the Holy Spirit, not human ability or eloquence.

He also urged the youth to deepen their relationship with God through prayer, fasting, and consistent study of the Word, noting that “true power for witnessing flows from intimacy with God.” According to him, the mandate to Go and Tell is not reserved for the famous or flawless, but for the faithful — those who make themselves available for God’s use.

The service was filled with vibrant worship, heartfelt prayers, and powerful moments of reflection, as many youth rededicated themselves to God’s mission. The message reignited passion for evangelism and stirred a commitment to live as living testimonies of Christ’s transforming love.

In a closing expression of gratitude, the leadership and members of the Asofan English Assembly thanked Apostle Joseph Danzerl for his timely and spirit-filled visit. They described his presence and message as a defining moment in the Assembly’s spiritual journey, bringing renewal, direction, and empowerment to the youth.

The event concluded on a high note, with the youth inspired and ready to carry forward the Go and Tell mandate — becoming ambassadors of Christ and agents of change in their generation.

From doubt to discovery — Nathanael’s transformation began because Philip obeyed the call to Go and Tell.

As part of our National Youth Week Celebration, Apostle Joseph Danzerl reminded us that every believer — especially the youth — is called to share Christ’s love with simplicity, compassion, and faith.

This is our mandate. This is our mission. Go and Tell‼️.

The crime of Calvary wasn’t just betrayal — it was moral cowardice.
The fear of standing for what is right, the silence in the face of wrong.
When good men do nothing, evil triumphs.
Lord, give us the courage to stand for truth even when it costs us. 🙏

We are UNASHAMED of the Gospel! For it is the POWER of God unto salvation (Romans 1:16). Last Sunday reminded us: The Gospel is not to be hidden, but boldly proclaimed! 🙌✨”

What a glorious time we had in God’s presence! 🙌 The word came from John 14, reminding us that the life of Greater Works is possible only through Jesus Christ. It is not by our strength, wisdom, or ability, but by staying connected to Him who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. ✝️🔥

Our speaker also reminded us that when we walk in the fear of the Lord, we stop complaining. Instead of focusing on problems, we focus on God’s power. Instead of murmuring, we lift our faith. And instead of shrinking back, we boldly step into the extraordinary works God has prepared for us. 💫

This message was a call to live surrendered, to walk in reverence before God, and to rise up in Christ to do Greater Works that will impact lives and glorify His name. 🙏

May we carry this word throughout the week and beyond, walking daily in the power of Jesus! ❤️
