INTRODUCTION
All Praises and thanks to God Almighty and we bear witness that there is no god worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad (S.A.W) is indeed the true Messenger and Servant of Allah. The Ghana Muslim Mission is a non-governmental, non–denominational Islamic Religious organization, based on the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) and the Holy Quran. It was established in the ye
ar 1957 to help bring Muslims together to propagate Islam and also to support human and social development activities including provision of education and educational infrastructures, as well as other social amenities among others. The organization has a clearly defined leadership structure, with its headquarters based in Accra. Other regional and district offices have also been established across the country. Due to its large membership, the organization serves as a strong pillar in the unification of Muslims irrespective of their socio-economic status. By way of achievements, the Ghana Muslim Mission has established 117 schools across the country including, Kindergarten, Primary, Junior and Senior High Schools. Also, there is the construction of an Islamic University in Kumasi which is currently underway. VISION
An Islamic organization that will propagate Islam, establish educational and health institutions and provide other social amenities as well as skills training and poverty alleviation for Muslims, in villages, towns and cities in the ten regions of Ghana. MISSION
To enlighten Muslims and Non-Muslims about the Holy Quran and the Hadith to ensure peaceful co-existence among Muslims and other religious groups for effective collaboration and development of our beloved country. To foster unity amongst Muslims in Ghana as a whole and all other religious bodies.
To formulate and pursue policies and programs to propagate the true teachings of Islam amongst the entire Ummah and all manner of persons in Ghana.
To mobilize resources for the establishment of educational institutions at all levels, building mosques, healthcare centers (hospitals, clinics and health posts) and the provision of other social facilities.
To educate people on Islam, civic, social, health and other developmental issues.
To explore all possible avenues internally and externally to revive the true teachings of Islam so as to enable the brethren to order their lives in alignment with the spirit of Islam.
The Mission shall deem it a bounden duty to foster unity, co-operation and tolerance among all Muslim groups and other religious missionaries in Ghana.
To establish friendly relations with all foreign Muslim organizations in furtherance of the religion of Islam to the advantage of her members.
To promote or establish any trading or commercial enterprise in furtherance of her stated objectives. MAJOR AREAS OF CONCERN:

ACTIVITIES
Da’wah: This one of the main aims of the organization. This is mainly done in remote communities, towns and cities.
Writing and publishing books about Islam.
Organizing conferences and workshops for our youth, women, elderly and children.
Organizing cooperatives and poverty alleviation programs.
Participation in national programmes on civic education, environmental and health awareness as well as advocacy.
The youth and Women have won several national awards in recognition of their contribution towards national development.
Organizing leadership training workshops for teachers, imams, students among others.
Providing health education and free health screening to Muslim and Non-Muslims alike.

Organizing Fund Raising and resource mobilization activities. Ongoing Projects
Construction of Ghana Muslim Mission University at Esereso in Kumasi.
Expansion of Mosque at Headquarters- Korle-Gonno in Accra.
Renovation and face-lifting of School Building- Korle –Gonno in Accra.
Expansion of Mosque at Islamic Senior High School –Kumasi.
Preparation of land acquired at Domeabra for construction of Senior High School.
Preparation of land acquired for construction of Senior High School at Asankragua in the Western Region.
Preparation of land acquired at Mim in the Brong- Ahafo Region for the construction of a College of Education. PROJECTIONS
To build as many Senior High Schools but at least one in every region.
To build four (4) Colleges of Education, four (4) Nursing and Midwifery Training Colleges and College of Allied Health Sciences.
To build Clinics and Hospitals in some deprived communities across the country.
