YOUR STRENGTH IS COMING BACK!

“Howbeit the hair of his head began to grow again after he was shaven”. Judges 16:22 (KJV)

I am glad the story of Samson did not end in shame. His strength came back to him even though he messed up. So also, your strength is coming back to you. How did I know that Samson’s strength came back? The Bible says when the hair began to grow, something happened. The Philistines came for a convention and they brought him, as usual, to come and do sport and comedy for them to humiliate and embarrass him. And the Bible says when he was sure that all were there, he asked the little lad, why am I here? The little lad told him it was a convention, and they have brought you to come and dance for them and entertain them. And he reminded himself, I am not called for entertainment. I am called to do the work of the kingdom.

Samson told the lad to please take him to the pillar, and the lad was happy to take him. And he put his hands on the pillars. That posture with his hands spread across the pillars represents the cross. That means he leveraged the power of the finished work and pulled down the whole convention ground. Eventually, he did more in his death than he had done all through his lifetime.

Child of God, I don’t know what challenges you are facing right now; but get ready to recover all. By the virtue of the finished work on the cross, I prophesy that you are recovering all. It doesn’t matter the grounds you have lost, and it doesn’t matter what the devil has done, they shall be restored. Your strength is coming back. Your hair will grow again in Jesus name

RESTING AT HIS FEET ENSURES THAT YOU DON'T GO EMPTY!

“And she said, these six measures of barley gave he me; for he said to me, go not empty unto thy mother in law”. Ruth 3:17(KJV)

I am tired of people who go for church services and all-night prayers, then when the chips are down and the battle rages, they fall like a pack of cards. That will not be your portion. In the book of Ruth chapter 3, Naomi said to Ruth, when you get to the kinsman redeemer, rest at his feet. Don’t do anything; just rest. She rested from night till morning. When the man woke up and saw her, he said, bring your veil. This was a lady who was reaping behind the reapers in the field, just gathering the little leftovers which they usually leave for poor people. But this time around, the owner of the field said, don’t work, I’ll give you. She was given six measures of barley without working. Six measures! When she laboured, she got one. Without labour, she got six. Then he said to her, it is not finished yet.

Your destination is not the six measures of barley.

From that time, Boaz took over and began working for Ruth. He did all the work until Ruth was catapulted from the lineage of those who have hitherto been denied into the lineage of Jesus. I declare unto you that a change is coming into your life. You will never remain where they left you. You will spring a surprise.

Jesus is irrevocably and unconditionally committed to you. He will never leave nor forsake you. You are irresistible to Him. He is not putting up with you. It is not like, “say what you want to say and get out of here”. No! He wants to hear your voice. You are so important to Him. He has not called you to abandon you. He doesn’t jump ship. He doesn’t run away when the battle is raging. He will always be there for you until all He has promised you are fulfilled. Just rest at His feet and you will never leave empty-handed in Jesus name

BELIEVE IN WHAT JESUS DID FOR YOU!

“There remaineth therefore a rest for the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.” Hebrews 4:9-11 (KJV)

Our labour as God’s people is not the labour to get. If so, then we got it backwards. If you are labouring for what to eat, what to drink, what to wear, shelter over your head, money in your pocket, how to get healed, how to get a spouse, and how to be pregnant; you’ve got it backwards. The impression you are giving right away is that God is in trouble. But the last time I checked, when God finished His work, the bible says He rested. That is what Genesis chapters 1 and 2 reveal. He rested, and since then, He has continued to rest.

God rested, not that He was tired, but because He finished the work. Nothing was remaining that needed to be done. He finished everything. You will find out by the law of first mention that God’s intention for us His children is to rest. It was after God had completed His work that He introduced man. Man was not introduced until God finished.

The book of Genesis1:26-27 says: “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion… So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” And in the book of Genesis 1:28: “…God blessed them…” What does that mean? It means empowered to succeed, empowered to make it in life, and empowered to overcome.

So, because you are empowered, naturally you will be fruitful, you will multiply, you will replenish the earth, you will subdue the earth, and you will have dominion. How did it come? It came by empowerment and not by struggle or self-efforts. You must learn to enter your rest by believing in what Jesus did for you.

YOU'RE GOD'S CHOSEN!

“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:’’. Ephesians 1:4 (KJV)

God does not choose as human beings do. Man can just look at you and say, you are finished; no hope in God for you. You are just wasting your time. It is already too late. But I want to let you know that you are chosen. God is the one that made the choice despite your weakness. Your weakness can not stop Him.

God made the choice when you were not even born yet. He packaged where you will end even before you were born. You have a glorious future. So, stop looking at where you are now. Let no man write you off. You will not end a disaster. You will not end a failure.

He had prepared your seat before you were born. He chose you for His own purpose. The Bible says in 2 Timothy 1:9,“who has saved us and called us with the Holy calling not according to our own words but according to his own purpose and grace which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began’’. He chose you! And if He chose you, without any contradiction, you will not end a failure. You will not end a disappointment! Heaven will fight for you! You will not see shame!

God did not only choose you, He also ordained you. Do you know what ordination means? It means you are authorized by God. By divine decree, God ordained you. His hands are upon your life. You are authorized to come into His presence. You are authorized to rebuke the devil. And when you rebuke him, he has to obey. By divine decree you have a license, you have authority, and you have God’s mandate to come into His presence and receive. When you understand this divine decree, you will pray with authority because God is the one who authorized you. He ordained you to make it in life. Therefore, you will make it. You may have been despised but you shall be celebrated in Jesus name

IT IS FINISHED!

“When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, it is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.” John 19:30 (KJV)

One of the most powerful statements in the Bible is the words used by Jesus Christ on the cross, “IT IS FINISHED”. It is finishe has some spiritual implications. In the Greek translation, the original word used is tetelestai. What does it mean? It means completely complete and perfectly perfect. You see, in the business world of commerce, the same word is used to mean no more debt owed on the goods. Just like you can place an order for some goods to be delivered to your warehouse, and then because you still owe, the goods are not delivered. But when everything has been paid for; no more debt on it, that is tetelestai. No more debt! It is fully paid! And what does that connote? That means the goods can be released.

Therefore, goods that belong to you that the enemy is still holding shall be released. The price has been fully paid. The enemy has no right to hold on to what belongs to you. Jesus Christ has paid for it when He said: It is finished.

Another implication of the word tetelestai is in legal terms. This is when somebody has been sentenced for an offense and has served the full terms of the sentence. Then what happens? He is released and cannot pay for it again. He can no more be arrested for that offense. He has been discharged, and acquitted, the case is closed and there will be no appeal.

Through Christ, you have been discharged from every claim of justice. You have been released, discharged, acquitted, the case is closed and there is no appeal. No one can appeal it. The devil cannot appeal it! The world cannot appeal it! Nowhere can it be appealed. Why? Jesus Christ has fully paid and fully satisfied the requirements of justice. He has served all the sentence on our behalf. And so, you have been set free. Whosoever the Son sets free is free indeed!

GOD WILL ALWAYS MAKE ROOM FOR HIS CHILDREN!

“And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.” Genesis 26:22 (KJV)

A study of the life of Isaac reveals clearly that nothing was able to stop him because there was a covenant speaking over his life. The Philistines tried to fight what belonged to Isaac, he did not bother because he knew that the blessing was not on the ground. The blessing was on him. It was what he was endowed with. So he walked away. He walked away from the well of contention and the well of strife.

Child of God don’t get into strife and don’t get into contention. Learn to walk away from strife and contention. As you walk away, they may be laughing. But as you are walking away, you are walking into Rehoboth. As you walk away, you are walking into your own land. God will always make a room for his children.

You cannot go without! Nothing can stop you. Nothing can withstand the blessing that God has put upon your life. God will always make a way for you.

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31 KJV) Because of the perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ, no mountain will be able to stop you. No power will take what belongs to you. You are not ordinary. Therefore, you will do big things! You will do mighty things! Favour will open doors for you! Favour will promote you! Strange doors will open for you! They will speak for you in high places. No more strandedness in any area of your life. No more disappointment! No more frustration! And no more intimidation! It is a new day in your life. In this same land where everyone is complaining and unhappy, God will set you apart. The blessing of God upon your life will cause you to stand out wherever you are.

YOUR WALK OF FAITH REQUIRES PATIENCE!

“Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, And he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: ….” Hebrews 10:35-38 (KJV)

There is a place for patience. Don’t jump out of the pot. Let the yam be done! Let the food be done! Don’t eat raw food. This is one of the things that our musicians need to learn. As a songwriter, you must learn to stay at it. Stay in God’s presence before the music is released, otherwise, it will not carry the weight that is required. When some musicians release an album, it is always hot cake because it was birthed in the Spirit. So, when they pull it out, it is not about entertainment, the breath of God is upon it. If you truly know the Spirit, you will want to listen to such music.

Challenges will come. People will laugh at you. There will be misconceptions and accusations. But when you know where you are going, you are not bothered by the naysayers. According to the scriptures: “…when God made a promise to Abraham because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.” (Hebrews 6:13-15 KJV)

There is a place for patient endurance! Don’t be in a haste. Whatever you are doing, do it well. Let it be the best. You must aim high. Let your excellent products and services speak on your behalf. You will not be lost in the crowd. People, that matter will look for you. The matter will not end until you arrive. Creation will favour you.

WHEN YOU FOLLOW; YOU WILL BE MADE!

“So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bare a son. And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the LORD, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel.” Ruth 4:13-14 KJV

The Lord gave Ruth conception. Oh yes! Ruth will always conceive and give birth to new things. Ruth is the type of believer that is ready to carry the cross and follow Jesus. Every one of us has a cross. And when you come to a crossroads, follow Jesus! You may not understand everything but keep following Jesus. Embrace the attitude of Ruth.

“And Ruth said, … whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.”(Ruth 1:16-17 KJV).

There is no way anyone will follow Christ in this manner without being settled.

The Psalmist declared: “Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: For the end of that man is peace.” (Psalm 37:37 KJV). You will end peacefully!

Ruth followed Naomi tenaciously and she was made. She was not only settled, but she also broke into the lineage of Christ. “and Salmon begat Booz of Rachab, and Booz begat Obed of Ruth, and Obed begat Jesse, and Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;” (Matthew 1:5-6 KJV)

You cannot write anyone off who has chosen to follow the Lord tenaciously. Ruth followed, and she was made. When you follow diligently, you will be made. I encourage you today to continue to follow Jesus. Don’t give up in the face of challenges. There is always a season of reward and divine settlement.

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” (Galatians 6:9 KJV)

THERE ARE SEASONS OF CONTRADICTIONS!

“So they two went until they came to Beth-lehem. And it came to pass, when they were come to Beth-lehem, that all the city was moved about them, and they said, Is this Naomi? And she said unto them, Call me not Naomi, call me Mara: for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me.” Ruth 1:19-20 (KJV)

Naomi is the type that is not ready. Naomi does not understand that there are seasons of contradictions. She is following the vision. She is part of the organization. She believes in the organization. But she does not understand that there are seasons of contradiction. So she changes and she is unstable like water. You can’t actually build so much on such people. They are unstable!

There was a famine in Bethlehem Judah. Bethlehem Judah’s name cannot be changed. It is a land of praise. Naomi took a permanent decision just because there was a temporary situation. Many have taken a permanent decision for temporary situations.

Maybe they had a little brush with one of the brethren and as a result, they are jumping ship.

Naomi’s type of believer changes confession like anything. Today my name is Naomi, tomorrow it is bitter. “I have changed my name! Don’t call me that name anymore!” I thought that God says He loves me. Why then are these things happening to me? Their understanding of the love of God is based on whether the weather is good or not. When the weather is bad, God hates me! When it is good God loves me! This type of people is not growing. They can be 10 years or 50 years in church, but they are still spiritual babes.

David said my heart is fixed. My mind is made up. I am not going to change my confession. Job declared: “If a man die, shall he live again? All the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.” (Job 14:14 KJV).

We need leaders that will stand, no matter the pressure. We need leaders who keep on standing, no matter the challenge. Keep on standing. Don’t quit because of seasons of contradictions. God will certainly come through for you.

DON'T BE LIKE ORPAH!

“And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother-in-law, but Ruth clave unto her.” Ruth 1:14 (KJV)

There are Orpah types of Christians and leaders; they like the spotlight and the commendation. They love the front seat. They love to be recognized and complimented every minute. There are such people in the church. They are supposedly following, but in reality, they are not following. They have a plan B while they are following. They tell you that they are ready to support you. They declare that they will stand by you no matter what. Just let the boat be rocked a little bit and they are gone.

If God has called you into any commission, you must be willing to give it all, especially as a leader. You can’t jump from one boat to the other. You can’t import from one place to another place. And you cannot just say you are serving God out of convenience.

When things became tough, Orpah jumped ship. It showed that she never really cut loose from home. Orpah kissed her mother-in-law bye-bye and went to her gods. In other words, Naomi you are on your own. She went back to her people. The dog went back to its vomit. “And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” (Luke 9:62 KJV)

Lot, come out of S***m and Gomorrah; take your wife, your children, and their husbands, get out of S***m, and don’t look back. But Lot’s wife looked back, and she turned into a pillar of salt. She had an unbroken tie with the past and with S***m. What are you looking back for? You really have not lost anything when you follow God. Rather you lost hell!

The sad aspect of it is that Orpah kind of people will be the first to drive people out of the church, but they won’t witness to anyone. You can never point to anyone that they have brought to church, but they will be the first to drive away anyone. Many Orpah’s had disappeared and we are still looking for them. But they are nowhere to be found.
