BEING CAREFUL PREACHING ANOTHER GOSPEL. GALATIANS 1:
Where is the Jesus factor which is the game changer?
We less mention and enshrine the Name and Person of Jesus in our songs, our posts, our preaching and even in our gatherings but rather projecting a Pastor, a prophet, an apostle or a frail human being engulfed with all frailness.
We even at times mention only the name of Jesus as a passing fad and routine formal check and approach forgetting or refusing to ensure his persons which is the power behind his name.
Gospel musicians just make mention of God in their songs and will tell you it's a gospel piece.
The Gospel is not the whole Bible. The Gospel is Jesus born as a Son of Man to earth in a manger and lived as a Son of God by the Spirit, obeyed God as the father and though he was a Son learned he obedience to die as the father's command and pleasure, though humanly painful to atone for Sin that was the issue that blocked Man from God and took it out of the way that through Jesus and his person, sinful human can go back to God boldly as a prodigal.
This, the Moslem, the Buddhist, the traditionalist and even the atheist would not want to hear. They will say Jesus really existed and will even tell you his name as Anabi Isaiah and any other philosophy they will try to propound about his persons as one who lived as an ordinary human and died, but will refuse and argue the truth that the Gospel concept of Heaven of Jesus backed by the Holy Ghost as the Son of God is fallacy.
Telling stories about how David killed Goliath in a sermon is not the Gospel, it's a truly a Bible story and a true happening of How God moved in those times of the Israelites but the Gospel.
The Command of Jesus to us is to GO AND PREACH THE GOSPEL,
Let's be careful of Another Gospel preaching another Gospel as Paul told the Galatians in Galatian 1:6-9.
Another Gospel is preaching religious sermons and messages from Bible Stories mentioning God as all other religions do mention as a supreme being somewhere and not presenting Jesus personality, and what he did differently on the cross to cross sin out of the way for all who believes to return and be accepted of God as a Father would do to a son. A move he did that has Hell forever maddened and weakened.
