Lift Your Head

My child, you have been staring at the ground for such a long time because you are so afraid of going in the wrong direction, afraid of stepping into a pothole and are so afraid of stumbling. Lift up your head my child because it is not for you to see where you are going, but mine. You are walking with your hand in mine and I know the way so I will definitely not let you fall or go astray.
Lift your head and see all the beautiful things that are around you as you walk with me. It is not about the destination, but the journey with Me that changes you and molds who you are. Lift your head so that you can feel the sun on your face and so you can see people around you and so that you can clearly see Me. I am waiting for you to turn your face toward mine. Let me lead you and enjoy the journey!

Count the Stars

Look up and count the stars my child and you will see that they are more than you can imagine. Yet even though they seem so vast, you are seeing but a pinprick of how many they really are. Can you imagine then how great I am? For you often feel limited in your circumstances and in your own strength, but you forget that I am unlimited!

I am vast and even though there are more stars than you can imagine, I hold them all in the palm of my hands. So trust in me child. Trust in my ability and in my power, for I am able to do above and beyond what you can imagine. If you continue to rest in my great strength, then you will not see your own weakness any longer.

When you look at my vastness, you will no longer feel your own limitation. For so often you limit yourself to your own abilities. You limit yourself to your circumstances and you limit yourself with your own thinking. I break the bounds of these limitations and have the ability to create new circumstances and to create new strengths in you.

So put away all your doubt this day. Take your eyes off your circumstances and off your fears. Put all your vision on to me. Put all your hope on to me and then you will find a peace enter your heart. As you rest in my peace and when you come to a place of true faith in me, then you will see the things that hinder you fall away. So come then and count the stars with me this day my child and experience the peace that I have waiting for you.

Your Secret Place in the Ark

In my presence you will find everything you need to be satisfied my child. It is here that you will find a deep peace that passes all understanding. It is here that you will find the noise of the storm around you suddenly quiet until you can only see its effects around you, but realize that the effects cannot touch you.
For when you are with me, I hide you much like the manna was put in the ark of the Covenant. Here it did not waste away. It was hidden in this secret place and so it was kept fresh and did not become exposed to the elements that would cause it to go rotten.
In the same way as you remain hidden in my hand, it is like being tucked away into the Ark of my Covenant. You are hidden away for that moment from the struggles and the storms in the world. You are hidden away from the fears and the striving and all that remains is my sweet presence.
So run to this quiet place and come receive the peace that passes all understanding. Here you will be renewed. You will experience the absence of fear and doubt - you will hear only the stillness of my voice. So come and know that I will always have this secret place for you says The Lord.

Peace to You

My child, just as I stood on the boat and told the waves and the storm to be still, so am I standing with you in your life bringing the peace and rest that you need to continue moving forward without distractions.
Perhaps things have been a bit wavy and unstable? Perhaps you have been feeling like you are going to be overtaken by the currents of life? Well, you do not need to worry about these things anymore because I am with you.
I am here to protect you and to give you the hope that you need to press on. My love, you will not be overtaken by the storms for I am standing beside you and I speak peace now to every area of your life, says the Lord.

A Gentle Whisper

My child, hear my gentle voice calling you to come into my presence. Stop for a moment and listen to the gentle whisper in the air. The noise around you is so much and it is so loud.
You get distracted and listen to everything else. You run for the one that shouts the loudest and you give attention to the one that cries with the most desperation. But my child, the one you need to listen to most, is my gentle voice.
I want to pour my love into you and give you wisdom for what you are facing. I want to show you my way, but for you to hear me and see me, you must stop in your tracks and turn your face to me.
Stop running, stop trying and striving and just look at me. I don't need you to say anything but I just need you to look at me. I need you to come and follow the gentle whisper in the air so that I can fill your ears with sweet words and fill your heart with tender love.
You are precious to me. Come my beloved. Run away with me and let me show you the secret place that I have created just for you and me. Come now my child, come, says the Lord.

Let Me Position You

Consider how the clouds float carelessly above the ground. They are driven only by the winds that carry them. They float over land and sea with no seeming purpose until suddenly they are moved to action and surrender their downpour to the earth below them.

In the same way, allow me to control your life my child. Allow me to be the wind that carries you here and there. At times it will feel as if you are drifting and not knowing where you should go. However if you surrender your life to me, I can move you to the place that I need you to be.

However, if you try to dictate your own direction, you will find yourself stuck and unable to fulfill your purpose as I intended. Instead let me be your wind. Let me be your direction. Let me move you to the right place so that when the time is right, you can release your full potential on the earth just as I ordained it.

For just like the clouds, you are full of my precious water and you have my life inside of you! You have much to offer this world and you are indeed my precious gift to this world. To release this gift of life though, you need to be in the right place. So let me position you. Give up any control and surrender everything to me.

Then although you might feel as though you are drifting, you can rest assured that I am the one leading you and you can look forward to the outpouring of my spirit that is soon to come says The Lord. Amen.
