Theme:The Joy of Knowing

Happy is he... whose hope is in the Lord his God. Psalm 146:5

Happy is the man who has learned the secret of coming to God in daily prayer. Fifteen minutes alone with God every morning before you start the day can change circumstances and remove mountains! But all of this happiness and all of these unlimited benefits which flow from the storehouse of heaven are contingent upon our relationship to God. Absolute dependency and absolute yieldedness are the conditions of being His child. Only His children are entitled to receive those things that lend themselves to happiness; and in order to be His child, there must be the surrender of the will to Him. Man does not come to know God through works-he comes to know God by faith, through grace. You cannot work your way toward happiness and heaven, you cannot moralize your way, you cannot reform your way, you cannot buy your way. It comes as a gift of God through Christ.

Thank You, heavenly Father, for the gift of joy which comes from knowing Your Son, Jesus Christ.

THEME: JESUS AUTHORITY

And they answered and said unto Jesus, we cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith into them, neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things (Mark 11:33)

Suppose you were asked to name the most outstanding man in history - who would you choose and why? Would you consider pedigree, life-passion, exploits, influence, accomplishments, death and legacies? Sure, you would. What would you say of this man who never attended school, but whose words resonated with such deep insight and oratorical power that multitudes were repeatedly held spellbound by His teachings! Here was a man who never learnt medical science; He was continuously besieged by people with all kinds of diseases and disabilities, curable and incurable, medical and mysterious. And He healed them all. His name is JESUS.

The Jewish chief priest, scribes and elders had heard and witnessed Mano of His miracles. He had also ridden triumphantly into Jerusalem with the people shouting, “Hosanna in the highest”. Yet, they sought to know by what authority He did all that.

Jesus is the Image of the invincible God, the Firstborn of every creature. He is the Master, Ruler, Savior, Sanctifier and the soon coming King. He has a name more powerful and far above every other name. Jesus is the only Advocate for His friends (true believers). He is the only Way to heaven (John 14:6); and the only name in heaven and earth by which men are saved. (Acts 4:12)

What other explanation do you need of His authority? Beloved, do not harden your heart. Come under His authority through repentance and faith in His atoning blood. If you do, your life will have meaning and your eternity in heaven will be sure
In Jesus alone dwells the fullness of life

Today, the Kwahu Presbytery had the honour of paying a courtesy call on the Chief and Elders of Nkwatia.

It was more than just a visit—it was a moment of connection, respect, and shared purpose. The Presbytery team was warmly welcomed, and the atmosphere was filled with openness and mutual appreciation.

Discussions centered on how the Church and traditional leadership can continue to work hand in hand to promote peace, unity, and development within the Nkwatia community. There was a strong sense of togetherness and a shared commitment to building a better future for all.

We are deeply grateful to the Chief and his elders for their warm reception and wise counsel. Moments like these remind us that when the Church and tradition walk together, communities grow stronger.

We look forward to continued collaboration for the good of Nkwatia.

Theme:The Great I Am

God said to Moses, \I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: I AM has sent me to you.\
(Exodus 3:14, NIV)

We serve a great and mighty God! He is the Creator of the universe, the one who spoke the worlds into existence. He’s called the Great I AM, and He’s saying today, “I am everything you need. I am your strength. I am your wisdom. I am your protection. I am your provider. I am your way maker. I am your problem solver. I am your dream giver. I am your victory!”

David put it this way in Psalm 138, “Though I am surrounded by troubles, You will bring me safely through. Your fist is clenched against my enemies. Your power will save me.” Maybe you feel like David today. You’re surrounded by all kinds of difficulties. You’re tempted to just settle right where you are. You need to get your fire back! Instead of focusing on how big your problems are, focus on how big your God is! He is everything you need. He is the Great I AM, and He is the one leading and guiding you into victory in every area of your life!

Father, I choose to focus on Your greatness today. Thank You for being the I AMeverything that I need to live the life of victory in Jesus\ name. Amen.
