We are Calvary Chapel Batumi. A truly international church. We meet on Sundays at 17:00. Our bilingual service is held in English and Russian.

Batumi International Christian Fellowship – Statement of Faith

We believe that the Bible is the inspired and only infallible written Word of God. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:19-21). We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (Matt. 2

8:19; 2 Cor. 13:14). We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, as both God and man, is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life. We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives (Rom 3:23). We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ (Eph. 1:7; Jn. 1:13, 3:3; 1 Pet. 1:23). We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised. We believe that our eternal destination of either heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ (Dan. 12:2; Jn. 11:25-26; Rev. 21:7-8). We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water by immersion and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38). We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the normal evidence of speaking in tongues, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask (Luke 11:13). We believe in the present-day reality of the supernatural operation of the gifts of the Spirit (1 Cor. 12:8-10; Heb. 2:3-4). We believe in the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for worship, fellowship, prayer and the Lord’s Supper (1 Cor. 11:23-26). We believe that God created marriage to be exclusively the union of one man and one woman and that intimate sexual activity is to occur exclusively within that union.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who came last night.

Thank you to everyone who cooked food and helped set up the space.

To those who prepared the music and decorations, and to everyone who helped clean up — thank you.
And thank you to everyone who came to worship God together with us.

Our hearts and prayers are with those who weren’t able to come. We noticed your absence and we missed you.

It was truly an amazing time.
