Youth and Young Adult Event

We’re excited to have our friends from Radiant Church, in Michigan, USA visiting this week, and joining us for a youth and young adult’s event this Saturday. The day will be comprised of an afternoon and evening service of worship, the word and prayer, with a social time in between.

Date: Sat 21st March 2026
Age: GCSE (14) to 30
Location: Spring Church, Brunswick Christian Centre. St Helen's Road, Swansea SA1 4BE
Parking: Free parking on Saturdays at Brangwyn Hall.

1pm–3pm – Afternoon session
3pm–5pm – Break and Fellowship
5pm–8pm – Evening session

Our regular timetable will be changed over the festive period (see below). We want to take this opportunity to wish you all very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year as we celebrate the arrival of our saviour Jesus Christ.

CHRISTMAS CAROL SERVICE
Sunday 14th Dec, 5pm

A warm welcome awaits you at our carol service this coming Sunday. We'll be singing classic carols, as well as some new songs. There will be contributions from young and old alike, so please do join us!

Christmas Carols in Cwmtwrch!
This Saturday (29th Nov from 10:30am) we'd love you to join us down at The Old School Nursery in Lower Cwmtwrch (SA9 2TD) for some classic Christmas Carols. We are joining up with our friends from The Mission in Cwmtwrch to bring some fantastic festive cheer to the nursery while the customers are picking out their Christmas trees and decorations! Feel free to join in or to just enjoy the music as you shop.

Just a reminder that because of our Antioch Weekend conference in Swansea this weekend, there will be NO Sunday evening meeting at Oaklands Church. Normal service will resume on 19th October.

We are looking for a volunteer from the Swansea Valley or Swansea region to possibly collect our friends from Italy, from Bristol Airport tomorrow. We do have a contingency plan if we cannot find anyone but if anyone is able to help and has an adequate drivers license, and is comfortable driving a minibus, please will you let Helen Yeoman know ASAP, as it would greatly help free up some personnel for other conference preparations. This weekend!

SUMMER 2025 - IMPORTANT NOTICE!
Through the summer holidays, all of our mid-week activities will be taking a much-needed break. That means that Little Buds, YoYo, Encounter (Youth), Young Adults, Tuesday Club and Wednesday Prayer will all be resting until September.

As well as this, our Sundays will be changing to meeting just in the morning at 10:30am, replacing the Sunday Evening Oaklands meeting, as well as the morning meetings of our branch churches. (Please note that River Of Life Church in Clydach will still be meeting on Sunday mornings at 10:30am.)

We are taking this time to rest, restore and get ready to run in September when everyone is back from holidays!

This means that this coming Sunday (20th July) will be the last Sunday, until Sep 7th, that we have a 5pm meeting at Oaklands. We look forward to welcoming you back after the rest!
