Yesterday evening our Church Wardens were admitted to their office for the next year by the Archdeacon of York at a service of Evening Prayer. Pray for them! From left to right with VicarGeoff in the middle: Jenny Skinner (Appleton Roebuck with Acaster Selby); Philip Reid (Acaster Malbis); Denise Ford (Bolton Percy with Colton); Diana Johnson and Stuart Hebden (Copmanthorpe). Every parish (there are 5 in the ABCs) can have 2 Church Wardens, so we have vacancies). If you are interested in joining this wonderful team, do get in touch.
