York Pride is this Saturday (30 May). We'll be waving as the parade passes at about 1pm. Come and celebrate with us this weekend from 10am. The Gallery Cafe will be open for cakes and drink. You are welcome to bring your own packed lunch. All welcome.

Victoria is our university & young adult chaplain, working especially with students. At this time of year many students are reaching the end of their courses and wondering about the future- pray for those who are fearful, lonely, or worried about money, and that they will find care and support to give them hope.

Our new District Chair from September will be Revd Romeo Pedro!

We are thrilled to announce that the Revd Romeo Regardo Pedro will be taking up the role of District Chair from the 1st of September 2026 for a period of six years (subject to conference).

Romeo is currently serving as Superintendent of the Sheffield Circuit. He has served in a variety of ministerial contexts both in the UK, Namibia and Cape Town. Through the discernment process it became clear that Romeo had a clear call to this role, and will be able to help the District continue to grow from where we are now and respond to the leading of God's Spirit.

We can't wait to see what God has in store!
