Holgate Methodist Church Traditional Sunday Worship, weekly 10.30am; Messy Church, usually 3rd Saturday monthly 4-6pm; Community Event, usually 1st Saturday monthly 4-6pm

Holgate Methodist Church has Sunday worship at 10.30am most weeks - lasting about an hour. This is generally followed by light refreshments. Messy Church takes places monthly during term time, usually on the 3rd Saturday, 4-6pm - it has a dedicated page at www.facebook.com/HolgateMessyChurch. At Messy Church we start with refreshments and some activity sheets before doing a range of various craft activities, we then have tea and then share in a short worship session with songs and bible stories. Messy Church is for all ages - we ask that children are accompanied by an adult, but adults are welcome without children! Our current Minister is Rory Dalgliesh. We are also on Instagram . We also have space available to hire, for either regular bookings, or one-off events, such as parties. For more information please look on our website.

He is risen! Alleluia!

Today, on Easter Sunday, we celebrate Jesus' resurrection three days after His death on the cross.

May the risen Christ fill your soul with joy today.
May you live as one who has seen the empty tomb and cannot keep the good news to yourself.

In the name of Christ, Alleluia!
