Just a few of the many photos taken outside Southlands at York Pride yesterday. We were handing out stickers to the passing parade, saying "you are loved" "love is love" and "trans rights". Of the 6000 we had printed (thinking they would last a couple of years) we only have about 1350 left! We were also delighted to see people taking selfies with our rainbow cross. That will be up for all of Pride Month.

Wow! York Pride was a great event. We handed out over 4000 stickers to passers by. It was fun spotting our stickers on people when we got to the Knavesmire. Lots more photos to follow, but here is one of the bus passing us.

Our new banner is up, ready for tomorrow.

We are open from 10am tomorrow (Sat 30th) for rainbow crafts and refreshments. We'll be waving to the York Pride parade when it passes (about 1pm).

York Pride is this Saturday (30 May). We'll be waving as the parade passes at about 1pm. Come and celebrate with us this weekend from 10am. The Gallery Cafe will be open for cakes and drink. You are welcome to bring your own packed lunch. All welcome.

Another big thank you to Good Gym York, who sent 33 people to work on our community garden last night. They even managed to climb up and remove ivy from walls that we could not reach!
