Call out for stall holders for the annual Winter Fair at Southlands Methodist Church on Bishopthorpe Road in York. This is a well established fair run jointly by a team of church members and artists. It is very well attended.
Deadline is 12 noon on Monday 21 September 2026.

Three weeks ago we recorded our performance of the musical Firebrand, all about the life of John Wesley who founded the Methodist Church. It included these 2, singing a new duet that was written especially for our version of the show. Thank you to all those involved in our musical Firebrand this weekend plus those who came to see it. We had great fun, learnt a lot about John Wesley how the Methodist Church was founded and also raised £270 for

We are now planning a concert-style musical for Christmas (i.e. we'll be using books and not learning it off by heart!). Look out for it nearer the time (hopefully on 6 December).

Thank you to everyone who watched our show about John Wesley last night. It went well. We'll be doing it again for a free showing at 10.30am today (instead of our morning service). Donations taken for St Leonard's Hospice 🌻

It is show weekend! Please do come and see it if you can. We worked out there are 18 people playing 68 parts, so seeing just how many costume changes we have is worth the £5 ticket money on it's own! 7.30pm tonight and 10.30am tomorrow at on Bishy Rd. Parking available in the car park at the back. If that is full, the Bishy Rd shops car park is free in the evenings.
