The Belfrey is a church that is home to many students from both universities in York and we look forward to welcoming you to this fantastic city. We have our friends from visiting for an afternoon of equipping and street outreach.

We’ll be meeting at church (the de grey rooms) for a time of worship and prayer before heading out to the busy streets of York to pray for people and chat with them about Jesus!

👥 Join a Small Group - find your people

Small groups are a huge part of being a student at the Belfrey. Every Monday at Student Night, after gathering as one big community, we spend most of our evening in small groups.

These groups are where real life happens: prayer, opening the Bible, friendship, accountability, and support. Once you join, this will be your group for the year; a circle of people who will encourage you, walk with you, and help you keep Jesus at the centre.

Whether you’ve been following Jesus for years, or you’re still exploring faith for the first time, you’re welcome. Small groups are safe places to learn, ask questions, and grow.

At Belfrey Students, we believe we are formed together: shaped by Jesus as we share life and faith in community.
