Our next lego church is this Saturday - 28th February.
Lego Church is a relaxed, creative space where people of all ages come together to build with Lego bricks and connect with stories from the Bible in a fun, hands-on way. It’s not a traditional church service; instead, it’s more like a casual community gathering that mixes play, learning, and a bit of faith exploration.
Here’s what it typically looks like:
• Warm Welcome: You walk into a friendly, low-pressure environment - our church room. Tables are covered with piles of Lego, music might be playing softly, and people are chatting and building.
• Bible Story Time: After some free-building time, a simple Bible story is shared. It’s often interactive, short, and engaging—told in a way that connects with everyday life. Think stories like Noah’s Ark, the Good Samaritan, or Jesus feeding the 5,000.
• Themed Lego Build: Everyone is invited to build something inspired by the story—like a boat for Noah, a road for the Samaritan, or a picnic scene for the loaves and fishes. There’s no pressure to make it perfect; creativity and imagination are celebrated.
• Sharing and Reflection: Once the builds are done, there might be a moment to show what you’ve made and talk about what the story means. Sometimes there’s a short prayer or a takeaway thought, but it’s always relaxed and inclusive.
Come and join us and find out for yourself.
