York Ordinariate Mission The Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham in York

We are a group of those who feel committed to establishing the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham in the city of York. We believe that such a centrally placed location, combined with its historic and ecclesiastical importance, is ripe for this important work of Catholic mission. We invite all to attend any of our public services and encourage inquiries of those from an Anglican backgr

ound who may wish to join the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham. Presently, we have a weekly Evensong in the beautiful and oldest church in York, St Mary’s, Bishophill Junior and Masses by arrangement provided by Fr David Stafford of the Sheffield Ordinariate. However, it is advisable to contact us first to make sure that any given service is taking place, particularly if you are travelling.
