As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

A kind reminder of Eid arrangements for tomorrow.

Eid salah will be at 8:00 am. Please arrive early to help avoid congestion. To ensure a smooth and safe Eid, we will have volunteers managing traffic and parking, please follow their instructions.

Parking on site is reserved for the elderly and disabled. We encourage everyone else to consider walking or using public transport where possible (see the Eid arrangements message for more details). Please allow extra time to park on James Street and walk to the mosque (approximately 10 minutes).

We will be holding Eid party at 9:30 and everyone is welcome to join us.

Dear brothers and sisters,
*Eid Al-Adha will be on Wednesday 27th May*. We look forward to celebrating Eid together.

πŸ•Œ Eid Prayer

Building on the success and cooperation from the community, we will be holding *one Eid prayer only*, which will start at *08:00 AM*. Please ensure you *set off early* so you have enough time to find parking.

πŸš—*Parking & Traffic Guidance*

We expect around *2,000 attendees (300–350 cars)*, but the mosque has only *65 parking spaces*. As the grass area will be used for prayer, these spaces will be reserved for *elderly and disabled attendees only*.

Disabled attendees will need to *display a valid Blue Badge*.

To help traffic flow around Bull Lane and Hull Road:
β€’ *Arrive early* to allow enough time to find a suitable parking.
β€’ You may *drop off family members* just outside the mosque and then park elsewhere; allow *enough time* to drop off and find parking before the prayer
β€’ Community volunteers will be supporting traffic management β€” *please follow their instructions*
β€’ A convenient parking option is at the shops on Foss Islands Road (about a 10-minute walk) *maximum stay 2 hours* – please check and follow the parking terms and conditions.
β€’ ⁠You can also park on Melrosegate, Rawdon Avenue, or the nearby side streets (about a 10–15 minute walk).

⚠️ Please park responsibly and be mindful of *driveways and neighbouring properties*.

We are pleased to announce that Eid al-Fitr will be on Friday 20/03.
