Come and join us as we explore the story of David and Goliath, alongside puppets, songs, sensory activities and play - plus time to connect with other families with children with additional needs!

We also pray for all those who’ll be moving to York to study here!

We are a church in the heart of our community, serving Jesus and serving Heworth. We are creative, joy-filled and on a journey to become increasingly accessible.
We love Jesus, the Bible, our local and wider community and joining in with the work of the Holy Spirit.

We have our 10am Sunday service, followed by refreshments, plus opportunities to connect through the week with homegroup and our 18-30s WhatsApp chat and board game socials!

Exciting staff team update 📣

We are thrilled to announce that Ell is joining our team as our children, youth and family worker.

We are really excited to be sharing in her skills, experience and enthusiasm and can’t wait to see how God will work with and through her!

Do be praying for her as she settles into the role from this week and be sure to welcome her when you see her around!

What a fair!
What a team!
What a celebration of and in our community!

Thank you to all the team for their hard work pulling this together and for all those who came to join in, play games, eat treats and support wonderful local causes with generous donations!

Over £700 was raised, which is just wonderful and will bless the community!

We are already looking forward to doing it all over again next year!

In the meantime, do join us for our all-age service at 10am tomorrow or get in touch if you’d like to know any more about what we do.

We are having a great week in our community - and still so much more to come!

Yesterday, a swat team of generous people gathered to pack hampers to bless 25 families in our community with some treats and practical items.

Tonight, a generous team are braving the heat and donning the gardening gloves to pick up tools to help clear the front of our local CoE school.

Tomorrow, we’ll be out in front of church after school offering free snacks and refreshments between 3.30 & 5pm to bless people on their way back home from the school run and after school clubs!

On Friday, you may see some prayer postcards dropping on your doorstep. We love to pray at Holy Trinity, so even if you don’t get a postcard through your letterbox, why not drop us a message and tell us how we could be praying for you?

And finally, not forgetting that our Summer Fair is on Saturday, full of fun and food for the whole community between 11am and 2pm!

This is a week where we want to remind people just how loved they are by us and by God!

We Love Heworth, and so does God!

We had a great time kick starting Love Heworth with a brilliant team who went out after church to pick up litter we spotted on some of the streets in our community!

And there’s still time to get involved with everything going on!

Join us in church as we pack Hampers of Hope!

This is an opportunity to bless those who are struggling financially and work with St Aelred’s SVP Society to deliver them to those who need them.

We will be meeting inside the church building at 7:30pm for approximately an hour.

You don’t need to bring anything with you other than any donations that you would like to give.

COMING UP THIS SUNDAY: 10am Service, Community Litter Pick, HT Plus+

Love Heworth kick starts this weekend and we would love for you to be involved!

On Sunday, we have a community litter pick following refreshments after the 10am service (so around 11.30am/12 noon) and would love for you to help us clean up the surrounding streets!

We also have our final HT Plus+ service before the summer break, happening between 3 and 4pm in church.

HT Plus+ isn't a part of Love Heworth - but it is a way we show and share love with others, as we welcome families who may otherwise feel unable to access church (though anyone is, of course, welcome to any of our services!)

Do come along and get involved if you can!

The sun is shining and our church building is looking stunning and reflecting God’s glory in creation!

Plans for our annual Love Heworth festival, where we seek to reflect God’s love in our community, is happening between the 5th and 12th of July - and plans are well under way!

But we need you to make it happen!

There are lots of opportunities to get involved, including signing up for some events to bless and love our community, as well as joining us for our annual summer fair on the 11th July!

We hope the sun is shining then, too, but come rain or shine, we will be gathering to share God’s goodness!

Did you know that we support several charities as part of our own missional giving?

Excitingly, one of our mission partners has recently had some wonderful news!!

Huge congratulations to Barry!

Congratulations to Restore co-founder and trustee Barrie Stephenson, who has been awarded an MBE in the King's birthday honours list for services to people experiencing homelessness in York. We are delighted for Barrie on receipt of this wonderful news, and wholeheartedly agree that without his dedication, Restore would not be the organisation is it today. He absolutely deserves this award and we're so proud of him. Well done Barrie!
